What happened to the sweet, precocious little girl we all grew up with? When the series was canceled, I felt there was something amiss and I wanted the network to bring Punky Brewster back... they never did. Now I cannot find reruns anywhere, did everyone forget how special and beautiful this little show was? It was one of those hidden gems, a show that brought the whole family together. When I came home from school in the afternoon, there were two shows: Small Wonder and Punky Brewster. When they came on, I would stop whatever I was doing, glue myself to the television, slip on my different-colored sneakers and instantly I'd have Punky Power! I remember how Soliel Moon Frye lit up the room every time she smiled, it was like you knew everything was going to be alright. I loved how the show was always fresh and innocent, much better than the violence-induced cop shows and legal dramas of today's audience.

I saw Punky Brewster reruns every afternoon when I was a kid and I loved that show.I thought it was a great show. Looking back it is dated and the laughs aren't there but it is still a good family show I would like my girl to watch someday.I really liked the old guy character, he was such a nice guy and I like the actor too because he seems nice.I also liked the animated series they had for the show but I barely remember it and I think it didn't last long, I actually saw that before I saw the regular live version of Punky Brewster. It's nice to see Soleil Moon Frye is still working too.Great show, 10 out of 10!

This show was so much fun. I suppose it could get on your nerves but it was never meant to be taken overly seriously. I was a kid when it first came out and I've seen every episode. That is probably the reason I like it so much. And I love Soliel Moon Frye, she is still pretty cool. THis is just a fun little show from the 80's that is just meant to be enjoyed.
