OK it's got the depth of a puddle and the nuance of an angry 15 year old girl. But that's the demographic sweet spot. I'm sure it's fine in that sense. You can't judge trash by the standards of anything other than trash and this is pretty good trash. OK so all the men are women and the women are insane. But only in that high school chick movie way. In the real world you'd run screaming for the doors if any of these borderline narcissists came at you with a scalpel or medical help. Assuming of course any of them could pull their respective genitals out of each other long enough to see patients. But so what? Oceanside Wellness careens from one improbable medical disaster to the next. And it always ends well or tragically. Which is the same as ending well. I feel that the only moral dilemma they left out was having a suicide bomber show up demanding to be artificially inseminated with the sperm of dead cloned Rabbi so she could go off and detonate in a glorious spectacle of female empowerment. Maybe they did that one. I forget. At any rate, give it watch. It's stupid mindless fluff that will leave you asking the TV whether they're retarded or you are. And the answer does not matter. I rate this a 5/10 because it aims for silly mediocrity and hits it perfectly.

I have just spend 4 weeks watching all the shows on net-flex for the Priavate Practice. I loved it. Is this show off the air now? That would be such a same. I loved this show more than any show I have ever watched. Very sad if I cant watch anymore episodes. All the characters where awesome. The whole interoffice information and drama was so exciting. I hope someone can answer my question because I need to know what happens next. Does violet find another man to love. Do they 3 babies of copper live healthy. Does Sam baby come out healthy?? I cant take it. I need more of this show.. What am I going to watch on TV? Nothing else seems quit good enough to watch. I don't watch much TV but I loved this.Terry

I usually don't do medical movies. Even less TV series that I somehow got the impression never end and spin around and around the same characters and their stories and anxieties. I think about my own and dismiss the whole idea of dealing with other peoples' issues. But this series just got to me. I have only watched a few episodes of GA, so I can't quite say I "know" Addison's character, or her story before "Private Practice". Also, I think the first episode was kind of a long shot, to introduce to us all the characters and basically say "These are the people, get to know them fast". I would have probably gone to 2 episodes to introduce the characters. But it's fine, since the next, and the next and the next, until the very last episode, have gotten me pinned to the chair and losing sleep. It may not be a whole lot of medicine involved, but the way the characters evolve, and the issues and ethical problems they have, the way they react and the way they solve their differences, the bonds and friendships they have or don't have make them people we can relate to, human, in fact. I personally hate the whole shrink idea, so maybe I wouldn't have made a whole season with Addison seeing a shrink and beginning and ending an episode with her insights, but that's just me. I understand when symmetry is needed, and can cope with that. Nonetheless, it was a good show and I had fun watching it. I even liked Charlotte :)

I have seen every episode of this spin off. I thought the first season was a decent effort considering the expectations of following such a success that is Grey's Anatomy. Thus i have continued to watch. I'm afraid the second season lacks the charm, the chemistry and more importantly the drama of it's predecessor Grey's Anatomy. The relationships seem contrived and the acting is so-so. The writing lacks the intelligence and comedic hints seen in GA. There are shows that a formulaic but do not feel formulaic and contrived, unfortunately PP is not so. I loved Kate Walsh's presence in GA. I'm afraid Kate Walsh's life in LA is simply not interesting.
