It is a great movie. Themes, topics and characters are great. We love them all. We want them back!!! Nothing wrong with a good sci-fiction movie. Many crap thriller movies are not cancelled. Even cartoons (unrealistic) are on TV for years. Whoever gave a low rate or negative review to this great show have limited minds. For the FOX group- In order to make a decision make sure you reach everyone's opinion as far as possible. Not just the small closed mind group. Poor marketing, poor analysis and poor statistics skills or none. The marketing department (whoever) did a very bad job or may be it was all crap from the inside FOX company to cancel it. Objectively..Those negatives comments sound from people with very limited mind. No-one needs those comments. Most movies are crap with many strong scenes. This was good. Improve marketing skills. The movie was awesome!!! We want season 2, more episodes. Such a mistake. FOX sucks!! Bring back the whole series. Themes, topics and characters.

this could have been such an awesome series. right. starting with 10 stars. subtracting 5 stars for the main character casting. and scoping out of her character. and stylist. Honestly, the story does not need cleavage. she is too glossy and would fit better in something like Revenge. subtracting one more for the not well thought out substory lines. I even thought the precogs were OK casted and the acting OK. there were some side characters that I didn't like much, and it was very obvious who was the bad guy the whole time. I am very sad that a great book and a great movie was slaughtered like this. just a bit less gloss and a bit more mystery and this could have passed as OK.

I really like this show. It got better as the show went on. It got me emotional at times, there are some moments of absolute brilliance. Bringing Christopher Heyerdahl as a villain was a great move, he suits the part perfectly. Last episode was amazing. It's actually well set up for a second season. Fox has canceled a lot of great shows and I really don't know why people (like producers) even sign up with them at all. I'm hoping a Netflix/Amazon/Hulu could jump in and get this show going if Fox don't continue with it. Meagan was so hot too, and her jackets were great, where do you get them from? Loved them. I see a lot of negative reviews but I really think Americans are way too spoiled and picky. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was hopeful when I heard about this show and that it was on Fox. Fox has done some good Sci-Fi: Almost Human, Terminator, Fringe, Firefly, X-files, Sliders, and etc... I'm not comparing the TV show to the movie at all. Other than the bells and whistles this is not Sci-Fi.I had one person post me on a blog that Firefly was old. Well, when it was on Fox; Fox kept switching the night it was on from week to week. Also, it's 2015 and people are still watching it.Reading the reviews is what prompted me to write a review. The younger viewers and their interest in Nick Zano was why I hadn't done a review, until today. For any show, the pilot episode is important. If the pilot is boring with sloppy writing, acting, and directing; then you know it's only going to get worse. Most Sci-Fi shows today are like video games. The characters and story. Minority Report isn't the only show guilty of this. Video games require active participation, TV shows and movies do not. So, there has to be a story that is acted out that draws the audience in; the total opposite of a video game.Wowing us with the CGI, high tech gadgets, and tech jargon only works if there is a story. You know there's a story if you watch a show for 20 mins. At 20 mins if you still don't know what's going on, then it's not worth watching.Sci-Fi is not only high tech it's fun. You never know what's going to happen. If the story is good you follow the character and character development unfolds. The story is the Horse and the character is the cart. In video games you choose the character. TV shows like the Minority Report put the cart before the horse.***To the younger viewers that like Nick Zano and tuned into Minority Report for that fact; I apologize. Life is too short and in youth, which is such a short time, you deserve some fun and a healthy break from your school work.*** Fox obviously knows somewhat what it's doing as it cut the season from 13 eps to 10. As of today the IMDb rating is 5.9 at the 9th ep. Because of CGI the cost of Sci-Fi shows has gone down not up. The story and acting are worth the investment. I could be wrong and I don't think there will be a 2nd season of Minority Report and other than the official announcement this show has been cancelled.Good Sci-Fi shows to watch: The 100, Continuum (which ended this year), or 12 Monkeys (2nd season to air in Jan. 2016).I would recommend passing on this show, but it looks like everyone already has.
