I is Korean, from the Corea, and I enjoy this show. My sister recently recommended this show and I ended up binge watching the two seasons available on Netflix (<--give praise). The hilarious episodes are no stretch of imagination of many family experiences. The opinions of those who feel this show is full of "stereotypes" is right. Anyone who has strong culture or religious values fit some stereotype. What's wrong with this? Could this be what makes it funnier and more relatable? The story this series tells about a family who love their friends, customers, communities, colleagues, and each other, makes this show very easy to enjoy and relate to! I can't wait for more seasons!

Binge watched the first two seasons on Netflix. Very much entertained. The cast in its entirety captured funny, warm and likable characters. Funny. I am not Asian, Irish-Scot hillbilly, I did enjoy this production.

Having lived in Korea for 2 years and soon to be moving back there again this year, this comedy totally hits the mark in all the right places for me. It's funny, sweet at times, has pretty decent acting and writing and had really good pacing in each episode.The nuances of the gyopo lifestyle are hilarious (Janet not knowing Korean) and Mr Kim is hilarious. Especially in the second half of the season, he really comes into his role and makes me laugh. The comedy between Jung and Kimchee is also really good. Some pretty predictable one liners, but their delivery is really good.Overall, it's just a fun time. Especially if you have experienced the culture, speak the language or have any connection or interest in Korean culture at all.Can't wait for a second season. The only downside is that I wish there were more episodes!
