I didn't catch this show in it's original run, but if I had I would have been disappointed that it was simply stopped and not at least some way concluded.The show starts strong, with the establishment of the struggles a small town went through after a countrywide nuclear attack. The show does a good job at first with introducing character personalities then showing what happens to those people once crisis hits. I really think the show could have benefited more by watching the townspeople handle a few more local problems and obstacles before the external troubles were introduced. It would have done more to cement the personalities and conflicts that had to be overcome before the discovery of the real conspiracy. However, the first season small town stories grind to a halt in order to expand the story beyond Jericho. It was all a bit rushed.The later stories were good, with the beginnings of introducing a conspiracy and multiple factions trying to gain control. This was decent storytelling. However it could have waited another half season to develop the main Jericho characters and stories more. I think the show would have lasted longer if they had.Even though it is rushed, it is ultimately an engaging story, and worth a binge watch. You will probably be left with your own ideas on how it could have progressed and concluded. When a canceled show does this, it's worth a watch.

I just finished watching this series and I'm also interested in seeing more of it if someone is willing to produce it (I've already offered to sponsor another one that I thought it would last forever and got pretty bumped when it hit the can cause it was my favorite; That sponsoring deal it will happen if I ever get the cash of course. But someone else should offer for this one I can't do all of them). Well to conclude with this some of us got used to it and it gets easier every time; we've learned to enjoy them while they last. There are many TV shows suspended and as many still going on and on and on for years. For example there's one that started since before I was born and still airing and I'm 32 years old; it's got up to season 40something for crying out loud there are people that never got to see the end of it and they probably hung in there pretty tough, they may even be watching it from Heaven right now ... :)) I'm just kidding there, if they're in Heaven they've already seen THE END.

The idea was fine but they went astray. Instead of sticking with the main story line they decided to meander into soapy territory far too often.There are some good lessons to be learned from this show, though I doubt that anyone in a position to make decisions to implement contingency plans for small rural towns would have watched this show.For me, the worst thing about this type of show is how stupid the characters can be. They often seem to make snap decisions without proper discussion. And what discourse there is often ends in bitterness. It just makes me want to bang their heads together and tell them to use a bit of logical thinking.I know it's the current way of editing shows but switching so frequently from one story line to another for a couple of minutes then back to the previous story line becomes annoying. One minute your watching a tense life threatening situation unfold then your switched to a scene where someones thinking about what their life could have been.Verdict: Has its moments of greatness but also has many frustrating/annoying moments.

What kind of stuff!!!! Who ends the season like that??? Where's the producer? We need to have a big talk! Where is season 3? Someone tell me Netflix is just slow and missed the other seasons? I need to know this stuff! Jericho is TOO good of a series to be missing out on. It will make you go crazy if you are left hanging. Someone.... Anyone... Make a book.. a book series. This is amazing!!! Encore Encore!! I love a mystery, and Jericho really challenged my ability to judge people at first sight. Every episode left me with a dropped jaw, and every scene was so intense!! It was like I wanted to be in the movie taking action, slapping people and saying sorry later, because they where even clueless. I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone of age to watch and understand it.
