The Good: The Premise had potential. Supervirus, LAst Ship, what else to Say.The Bad: The Story itself is between borderline insane to boring. Nothing makes much sense and is stretched out for no good reason into the oblivion. The Ugly: Well starting with the Main Protagonist our captain who is simply the absolute wrong cast. Nobody buys his badass Warrior image he steady pretends. I cant remember seeing a worse choice for a ship captain in TV or movies everThe Effects: are a bad joke. Seriously you can find better stuff on youtube, made by Hobbyists. Its like watching a cheap 90's TV showThe Realism in fighting and tactics is another bad joke. Has nothing todo with anything remote realistic despite they pretend to know what they are doing, their communications are most of the time spot on.The Insults: No matter if a NATO Partner or the Russians, nobody wins against that tiny ship. Last season even a whole fleet looses, running into them like a mindless video game AI with suicidal tendencys. At the End America prevail and save the world not once but twice in a matter of a few seasonsBottomline: Pure crap and we need negative stars raiting

It's hard to believe. So many of these shows loose their authenticity by showing stuff that would never happen. The Captain of the Ship never leads a boarding party, or goes to engineering to figure out why the turbines aren't turning. Sorry for the writers, and especially to the actors. It was kind of different, and I get there take on it, but it just pure horse crap. I would much rather see something more real to life. What would a real captain of a ship do. There are people on ships that are paid to do the dirty work. The captain is there to make sure it gets done.

I starting watching this in the last couple of weeks. Never saw any of the earlier seasons, and in fact, never heard of the series until I saw a promo during the summer. It is a decent escape, and is well enough done that I will keep on watching it, and may go back and watch the earlier seasons. My big complaint is that it really isn't that good, and is kind of a rip off of some earlier cable shows (Strike Back comes to mind). It seems to be the best available programming, which is more a state of television production these days than an endorsement of this particular show. It isn't a ten star show. The plot is predictable, the acting sketchy, and some of the action sequences poorly done. That said, it's all we have in this dismal summer for television.UPDATE: I think I've pinned down my issues with this and similar series. This is a great story that can be told in 2 1/2 or 3 hours. Like most. But to cover 8 or 10 weeks, the directors have to add so much content that does nothing but slow the story down. It makes the entire production tedious. That's why I've given p on many of these series, like Stranger Things. Sorry, Iv'e got more to do with my time than watch a short story stretched out over 10 episodes.

I must have been hiding under a rock to have only just discovered this series, just brilliant! Some reviewers have taken it toooo seriously, I have watched all 4 series in 2 weeks, cant get enough, now I'm sad to be on the last episode. I'm sure some of the stuff on the ship arnt accurate buy to me it seems real enough. Its a shame there arnt more series out there like this. If you hav'nt seen it, watch it
