The more I watch The Latest Buzz, the more I love it! The cast is fantastic -- funny, natural and really likable. The actors are great at bringing the characters to life, so it feels like they are there for more than just a punchline. The story lines are fresh and creative, which I think is a testament to a good premise -- the magazine gives the characters something to do, and the stories are richer because of it. The Latest Buzz is among the growing number of Canadian teen shows that have better writing and better acting than some Canadian prime time sitcoms. This is definitely a show worth watching -- the cast is super talented and the jokes always get me giggling.

I think the show is absolutely amazing. The story line is very good and it actually gives a completely different point of view of something that is very common- high school life, and I think this is what makes the show so interesting. The characters are all excellent. The best part about the show is the way each of the characters work on their stories. It promotes journalism! :) It had been advertised a lot here in India so I watched it right from the beginning and I DON'T think the advertising was for nothing. It IS a good show. There are hilarious comic elements and each episode has come out EXCEEDINGLY well. I can hardly wait for the next season to begin. In fact its not only me, but all my friends as well, are major fans of this show.

This show is very welcome in our home! I have watched this with my kids on several occasions and we all enjoy it immensely! I personally believe that there is a lot of great Canadian work, and this is certainly among what I enjoy. For those fellow Canadians that grew up enjoying Mr. Dressup, the homage to him through "Ernie Coombs High School" was great to see. We found the characters were an interesting cross section of individuals. the interplay between these characters from all walks of life will give rise to many interesting conflicts, I am sure. We are particularly interested in seeing the development of the characters of the teacher and the editor. They serve as interesting and contrasting support for the kids. This is a great show for kids, clearly written from their perspective. Mr. Piaskoski has done a wonderful job, and is a great example of what Canadian work can achieve.

I've been able to see most of the first season of "The Latest Buzz", and let me tell you, the show gets funnier and funnier. Most of the stars were in their first acting gigs, but they get good really fast, and let's face it - it's way better to have 14-15 year olds playing 14-15 year olds, than having 28 year-olds playing 16 (hello, OC?).These kids are real kids, playing the right age, and they're friggin hilarious! Especially Michael and Wilder! And yes, "The Latest Buzz" has a laugh track. So do a lot of great comedies, like "Friends" and "How I Met Your Mother". Get over it. I did after less than one episode. I can honestly say that I've laughed out loud at every episode I've seen, and I've enjoyed every one. Each of the characters is fun and interesting, and this show is at least as good as "Life with Derek" and "Hannah Montana". The people in India have already seen 20 or so episodes, and "Latest Buzz" is the #2 kids show on Disney Channel India, second only to "Hannah Montana". "Buzz" also had the best premiere ratings for any show in Family Channel's history in Canada - so people are watching and loving it... why aren't you? :D
