Outrageous storylines & poor acting are 2 of the better points of this trash.Being an ex firefighter I may be biased but this garbage needs to be stopped now before anymore unsuspecting people have the misfortune to see it.

I really like the show very intense and a good cast. If you want reality then listen to a police scanner or watch the news. Too many haters. It's not a documentary or a reality tv show so as long as you go into it looking for entertainment I don't see how you couldn't be pleased.

I agree with the other first responders who have reviewed this show. It is not high on realism. But...so what. It is still entertaining enough to watch. And in the end...it still exposes what we experience to wider audience. If you are a first responder and are looking for reality...watch a documentary. Or...just go to work. Of you are anyone looking for an entertaining drama...give it a chance. Angela Bassett carries the show.

The rare hint of hope that television might have a soul glimmers in this show. It truly has very good acting by an exceptional cast, plus fantastic writing.
