I hate what has happened to the zombie sub genre, film makers coming up with ever more stupid names for their movies, a trend kicked off by Shaun of the Dead. So I did not have high expectations for this stupidly named Zombeavers. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. It's actually a silly but fun film. Lots of gore, gags & boobs, plus it's relatively short. Watch it with a few beers

Usually I do not watch this type of low budget horror comedies, but when I run into comment on Facebook: "Those are not zombie beavers, those are carbonated squirrels." I simply could not resist. And as it usually goes with zombies, whoever is bitten becomes one of them, so we have zombie bear-beavers and such hilarious creations. I am so not sorry for 77 minutes spent on this stupidity, cause some stupidity is so stupid that it borders with ingenuity.And when I heard the song that goes with end credits... awesome. You can easily find it on YouTube. Spoiler alert - song literally retells the movie.I gave it 7/10, but 7 is extremely high rating for this genre.

I heard about this some time ago and searched for it, first it said that the project/film had been canceled so I didn't think much of it, until somebody mentioned it, searched again and found it had been released.I am a sucker for b-movies, I love the originality, the bad effects, the acting and most of all the fun they have making them, that always shines through. If you are not into these kind of films, this will really not be for you, it is a bit amateurish, but has lots of effects, fun and strange things that fits perfectly into the genre. There are attractive girls off course in summer time so they don't need to have much on, stupid "sidekicks" that tries to help but doesn't do very well.All-in-all an entertaining movie, a bit amateurish in the acting and could have had better effects, but it is an okay b-movie that delivers on the strange plot it promises, Beaver zombies :)

We watched this as part of our 'Scary Night In' Halloween evening! And to be honest it was fun and hilarious!! It is what it is - it's just light hearted and a spoof. Although it made me jump on a number of occasions! It's not the best acting and I doubt it was marketed as that either. Pick the person you want to go first and guess who you think might last!! We spent a lot of time shouting at the scene about what we would have done had we been in the same scenario and to me that's makes a good film to watch with friends!We added to the humour by having a 'sip' every time we heard the word beaver. Maybe that's why by the end we thought it was a brilliant film!!! Note to self: gin is not the best sip to have with the number of 'beavers' in this film!!
