This is my favorite movie. I like this better than many films that are objectively better. A lot of them actually. The film has an excellent story by Disney sequel standards. Sure it´s just another forbidden love story, but it is an excellent one. The music is probably the best thing. He Lives In You: Epic opening, arguably better than Circle of Life. Also Tina Turner did a cover of this.We Are One: Strangely, this is my least favorite song. It has a sort of simple sound, and while the lyrics are good, I find this song kinda boring. My Lullaby: Oh. My. Goodness. This song is DARRRRKK!!!!....rai. (Pokemon Joke LOL) This is one of my favorite songs in the movie and one of my favorite movie songs in general. This song is masterfully done.Upendi: I don´t have anything to say. It isnt too interesting. But ill take it over Hakuna Matata any day.Not One Of Us: This scene is so powerful and the scene displays some of the best animation in this movie. Love Will Find a Way: My favorite movie song ever. The song is just so beautiful. I love this song. The film is arguably better than the original, especially in the soundtrack. The new characters are good. Rafiki is given more screen time and Timon and Pumbaa are given less. Even if this film isn´t better than the original, i think it is, and thats what matters to me.

this movie is a Disney sequel done right!so why do nuremous people hate it?i understand their are some plot holes and the timeline is kinda uneven, but overall I think it's excellent and I wish Disney would make more sequels similar to this one.Others claim this movie is terrible for these main reasons.1)the animation is nothing like the originalOK first off, while watching this movie I didn't even notice the animation was different till I read another person's review! But their is a explanation for this,Disney has two animating teams,Team A and team B.When the first lion king was being developed,Another famous Disney movie was also in production,Pocahontas.Team A was currently focused on this project so team B was responsible for animating the first film. When the lion king 2 Simba's Pride was being created,Team A had to make it.Honestly,I think they did a really good job!it looks exactly like the original,Except for simba and Nala,They kinda messed up on their designs a bit but that's easy to overlook, the movie isn't based on them anyway.2)The timeline makes NO sense.Again, their is another explanation for this! This movie was made by the opposite team!So I can kinda understand why there are a few plot holes here and there, but I think that those are easy to fill using your imagination,The viewer can make up their own story and just go along with it,so that is pretty simple and a easy mistake to fix.3)Where is Kopa?! (Kopa fans...Be warned for this one)😑your joking...Really?look,I like the idea of Simba and Nala having a son but that would be to much like the original,Plus,Kopa wasn't a Disney creation! Some people might know this already,He was created by a outside company wanting to pitch in on the fame and fortune on the lion king franchise! And while in a interview with the creators behind the lion king 2 they said very bluntly,They didn't even know kopa existed! And maybe if they knew he was around, they would've contacted his creators and had him in the movie! But that didn't happen...So for those complaining where this cub is,Despite how many facts,Theories,And explanations you come up with,he never existed,The creators of this film didn't know he existed,Get over it!(sorry kopa lovers)Overall, this movie is great!i think out of all the Romeo and Juliet cartoon movies I've seen,I think this is the best out of all of them!Despite the minor flaws,It has memorable characters,A ambitious villain,Catchy songs, and lives up to the original movie!I highly recommend giving it a try!Im positive you'll love it!Maybe even more than the first film!😉

This movie is the sequel of "Lion King", where Simba is now mature and has a daughter. Directed by Darrell Rooney and Rob LaDuca, with a script by Flip Kobler and his team, the film features the voices of Matthew Broderick, Neve Campbell, Andy Dick and Suzanne Pleshette.I wasn't displeased with this film. The way it picks up the original and gives it a continuation is nice, solving situations poorly explained in the first because they have no interest for its story, as to what happened to supporters of Scar. The script is simple, it almost copies half of the original plot, but it works well. Nevertheless, there are certain elements that remain unanswered and that appear in this film but not in the original. The characters are well designed, but most of them come from the first film. The work of voices, such as cinematography and the color, is excellent. It has good comic and dramatic tension, harmonizing and compensating each other, ensuring that will please both children and adults. The songs are very good, as expected of the sequel of "Lion King", a film that contains some of the most beautiful songs from Disney's movies. It's a movie for everyone, and can be seen by everyone.

I went into the film when I was younger with an open mind, but was sorely disappointed with this movie. It nowhere near lives up to the first film it proceeded by "The Lion King", but was not all bad. First I will say My first problem with the film was the Character attitudes. In this film the Main Character in the previous film Simba, is made out to be a bad Father and a bad King which is not true in My Opinion, Disney tried to ruin His previous Character build up, dragging Him through the mud the whole movie, when at some points He was actually politically correct. Another Character issue I have with this Movie is Simba and Nala's Daughter, Kiara. She is one of the brattiest Disney girls that has ever been! She is rude to Her Father, doesn't give a crap about who She is or Her legacy, and complains all the time about petty things! What problems does She have?! She says She is so sheltered and wants freedom, but I would be protective of My kid to if some insane, bloodthirsty Lioness who sang about ripping My throat out had the sole purpose In Her mind to destroy My family! But that just didn't set in Her ditzy Teenage brain! She is also very immature and vein for my taste. Besides these things the rest of the Characters have very different personality's than in the first film, it's like it wasn't even them! The animation was also lacking in some place and looked like it was done by a 10 year old to be honest. The movie is not to terrible however, it could have been better and has plenty more potential than it was given. If Disney used the same Character personality's from the first film, better Music, created a better plot line, and spent more time on it then it would be decent. It was an alright film, but didn't give Me the same feelings the first did. In conclusion try this film out, it depends on Your personal taste to decide If it is good or not.
