Nice movie, good cust..... specially the storyline...very interesting not boring .... music and sets were also good....I am giving it 9 out of 10 stars..

I will start by stating that I don't think you can compared "The Cave" with "Alien", as some reviewers have done. These are two very different movies in both style and genre.That being said, then it should also be said that "The Cave" is a great addition to the genre which also includes "Sanctum" and "The Descent".What works for "The Cave" is the sense of claustrophobia and sense of hopelessness that permeates the entire movie. But it is exactly what the movie needed to make it outstanding and entertaining.The cast was good and did good jobs with their given role and characters. Cole Hauser really carried the movie quite nicely and he outran Eddie Cibrian by miles. It was a shame that Daniel Dae Kim wasn't given a more prominent role, because his talent was not utilized in this movie.While "The Cave" is entertaining, the storyline itself was quite far-fetched. I mean, what would cause those mutates creatures existence? It just didn't make much sense. And while on the topic of those subterranean creatures, then I will say that the creature design was really good."The Cave" was a surprisingly entertaining movie in an otherwise fairly mundane and mediocre genre.

Called in for a rescue mission, an experienced cave-diving crew in Romania learns their quarry stumbled into the home of subterranean creatures and are now tracking them down, forcing them to try to get out alive.This one turned out to be quite a decent enough effort. One of the better elements here is the fact that this one manages to wonderfully utilize the underground setting from maximum effect, getting a lot out of this one. The most obvious one is the rather creepy lay-out as the cave system looks incredibly well-done, being disorienting and unnatural-appearing as there's all kinds of nooks, crannies, crevices, openings and tunnels to really be as claustrophobic as it can possible by while serving as a wholly effective battleground for the different encounters within. These are quit fun here in theory, as the first battle in the scorpion-den, a frightening encounter in the open air above the inland pool and finally the massively fun encounter in their lair that really lets the creatures loose in a great environment to showcase their skills, but after that there's not a whole lot really right here. The biggest problems is the creatures themselves, as there's a couple issues with them as the darkened surroundings make it impossible to really get a good look at them being the biggest. There's only a small handful of scenes that actually give it away here, the rest of which are shaken up too much with lousy rapid-fire editing that blurs everything into an indecipherable mess. While the rating might have a lot to do with the lame body count, there's a lot here to deal with the large majority of time spent in detailing the mechanics of how to survive in the situations rather than getting the creatures out. It's not until the final half hour that the attacks begin in earnest so this one can struggle to get going at first. These do hold it down somewhat but the good points are still good enough here.Rated PG-13: Violence and mild Language.

OK i m giving this movie a 7 stars ......... may be some people doesn't like it but i like this movie as a thrillerThere are many good things in this movie ......... Direction, acting, story etc....Movie has dark background.....which is bad in some part of the movie because sometime i couldn't seen properly that what happening ..... but dark background makes thrilling scene more effective. But movie should have some clear background.Bad thing about this movie is ...... getting board in the some part of the movie. The movie is looks a like common horror thriller.it is one time watch movie. But if u doesn't watch ... nothing to loose
