I'm not a big fan of Jennifer Aniston comedies. She's all right in most, but the stories are pretty predictable. Even so, I finally suffered through Bounty Hunter when it showed up on TV. Aniston gave an enjoyable performance, ,but "Milo," the character played by Gerard Butler, was so obviously a complete ***-hole from the beginning of the movie to the end of it that Ifound myself cringing at the certainty that the Aniston character was doomed to end up with him. (For the record, I am a heterosexual male, and I found Milo's behavior offensive, vindictive, and utterly without charm.) The supporting cast was competent enough to keep the movie from being a complete disaster, but really, unless you need to watch every movie Aniston ever made, don't bother with this one, you can do better.

I like Gerard butler, I like Jennifer aniston so I should have liked the bounty hunter. But boy this film is awful and really really hard to watch. The premise of this film sees a bounty hunter sent out to capture a felon and bring her to prison but it turns out to be his ex wife. Now as I said I like butler and he was the beat thing about this movie as he had a couple of funny moments. But his character was very one dimensional and you won't care about him because the film gives you absolutely no reason to care about him. Jeniffer aniston is the same, their chemistry is pretty good but her character has very few likable characteristics for you to like her. I am a fan of Jason sudekis but he did not have one funny moment in this film and I hope he isn't remembered for this performance. Also the villains have nothing to them and I'm not even sure they were necessary for this film. The story of this film is really bland, it is just a simple road trip film and you have seen everything here before. It provides nothing new and no excitement at all. The script is bad the comedy just doesn't hit. I don't remember laughing at anybody in this film. Also the dramatic moments are really forced in the film and you won't care about any of them. The style is as cliché as possible, it is your road trip film and it does nothing to make it interesting. Also the action scenes have absolutely nothing to them. Overall this is a terrible movie that should not be seen.

I waited for this movie to be shown on TV, since it had bad reviews and I was not expecting much out it. Turned out, that was exactly the case. As a romantic comedy (ex-spouses rekindling their flame) it fell flat, as a detective story (corruption within the police department) is pathetic and totally non-thrilling.Aniston and Butler are very likable actors, so I was hoping at least to get some on screen chemistry. Unfortunately, even that was missing. With due respect for Aniston wonderful body, I think she starts to get a bit old to play Rachel all over again, every time she is in a movie. She made many comedies, but her character is virtually always the same. It was funny and endearing in her late twenties and early thirties. It starts to be embarrassing in her forties - still dizzy and immature after all these years? Butler was very effective in "300", although his next movies were not so convincing. However, I hope he will find his way, which certainly is not romantic lead.

I had a high expectation on this movie but when I'm already watching it, i want to fast forward everything! It's full of running, shooting and dull moments between the two leading characters. Humor lines are not really funny. The plot is predictable: two couples got divorced then at the end fell in love again. I think Gerard Butler is not really for comedies. All throughout the film he has a strong facial expression not fit for a comedy film. Jennifer Aniston looks fine in the entire movie, she really portrayed well the character. I need to fast forward when Aniston and Butler are talking because the lines are predictable as i observed the development of the dialogue. I think Aniston saved the plot and Butler. I really like her as a comedian. So, I'm still giving it a 5.
