Only one small spoiler, After watching Supernatural I wanted to see Jensen Ackles in some more roles and had heard about this film. The name did put me off but it was actually a really good film with (in my opinion) amazing acting. I loved all the characters and felt connected to them. I am a really emotional person and even the smallest thing in a film will make me cry (happy or sad), and this film was no exception! There were a few moments that seemed a little stretched and in my opinion the ending was a little too 'happy ever after' with all four main characters falling in love! But overall it was a real feel-good film with brilliant actors and actresses! Loved the film and will definitely be recommending it to friends!

I might have given it a 2 but want to average out that UTTERLY RIDICULOUS rating! Do not be fooled. If you really love movies and appreciate IMDb for all the great information it provides, then please also rate this terrible movie as is. Today is my birthday and I decided to treat myself to "chick flick" -- this was a terrible mistake. This thing is sugar sappy, with some nudity just to prevent it from making it on Lifetime Movies for Women. Some of the actors are OK, and there are little pieces of good ideas, but otherwise....gag. Too bad that every character has some sort of love-life story to tell. Otherwise, there might have been time to really delve into individual plot lines and characters. Just a waste of an hour and half of my life!

I really enjoyed this movie. So much that I decided to buy it on DVD within 5mins of the film finishing. Its funny. It's happy. It's good acting. If you want to spend a night in and end up feeling good inside and smiling then watch this film. It explores the meaning of love and happiness and family/community etc... The comedic scenes are good (Hen-period salad). It's interesting seeing how actors such as Jensen Ackles and Clea DuVall can transcend into another genre from such programmes as Heroes and Supernatural. All I can say is they do a great job. If people don;t like it, fair enough. No film is absolutely perfect. But if you just want to watch a feel-good film then this is one that won't disappoint.

Being a fan of Jensen Ackles, I was willing to make a lot of concessions for this movie. I thought that with a decent script, acting and some good moments I would be more than happy. I'm used to see comedy and romantic movies and if they are not that stupid I actually will love them, but this one was a complete disappointment. The script was completely predictable and full of holes. At some points I was wishing for the damn thing to be over so I could go and watch something actually interesting.Though the acting was very decent, the script didn't work on favor of any of the actors, especially on the completely unnecessary nudity scenes of Danneel Harris. I think a good sex scene or nudity scene can be used for the benefit of the film but in this case you can note the intention of the director, writer and producers to add something to sell the film, at the inability of the script to do it by itself.I think the whole idea of the movie was good, and Jensen Ackles' role has some good moments and all the actors seem committed to achieve a good result but the script and the filming weren't up to the level, with errors like the apparition of microphones on the scenes, making it seem like this movie was filmed by amateurs. I'm not trying to be hard here, I'm just being honest. The movie has it's moments but all and all, after I watched it I could understand why it was only released in DVD. To watch under your own risk.
