I might have given it a 2 but want to average out that UTTERLY RIDICULOUS rating! Do not be fooled. If you really love movies and appreciate IMDb for all the great information it provides, then please also rate this terrible movie as is. Today is my birthday and I decided to treat myself to "chick flick" -- this was a terrible mistake. This thing is sugar sappy, with some nudity just to prevent it from making it on Lifetime Movies for Women. Some of the actors are OK, and there are little pieces of good ideas, but otherwise....gag. Too bad that every character has some sort of love-life story to tell. Otherwise, there might have been time to really delve into individual plot lines and characters. Just a waste of an hour and half of my life!

I'm not big on romantic comedies but "Ten Inch Hero" was an absolute Gem! It's about this young artist named Piper who moves to California and finds a job at a sandwich shop. Every character seems to be extremely likable from the cook with the Mohawk and his hopeless crush on the pretty waitress (who's the slut of the film) to the insecure but very much kind cashier who feeds homeless strangers. Everyone in this shop is looking for love whether they realize it or not and they all find it in their own unique way. It's really a beautiful story.I don't want to give too much away about the film. I just know I loved the story and the characters. You'll be able to find at least one character you can relate to in the film. I felt like I was in the film like I was actually friends with these people in the sandwich shop. I understood all of them perfectly well. I laughed, I cried, and in some moments I was even on the edge of my seat with curiosity. Find it on Netflix! Watch it! Rent it!

I just recently started watching Supernatural like a season ago. And, of course, I love Jensen Ackles. No one could play Dean better. So I started trying to see other films he's been in. Didn't like My Bloody Valentine, so I figured this mission was going to be a very long, annoying one. But then I watched this movie. I laughed, I cried, I really enjoyed the movie. I'm 22 BTW, so all the people saying no one over the age of 15 or something will like it, you're wrong. Besides, everyone has different taste in...well...everything. Anyway, it was really good, and Jensen was extremely cute. Which proofs what I was thinking all along....he's hot no matter what.Oh, for all the people saying they wished this would come out on DVD or in theaters..........It's on Netflix =-)

I found this movie by accident on demand a few months ago and fell in love. The way the characters lives revolve around one another is wonderful and something you don't find in the blockbuster effects movies that are so prevalent in today's cinema. The sandwich shop is a place that makes me wish it really existed so that I could work there. I don't know that I would fit in, I am by no means a twenty-something, but I'm sure I could hang with Trucker and Zo pretty easily. --//--One thing though:On the quote page, I found this:"Trucker: Are you a virgin? Piper: No. But I used to be."Somebody goofed.Trucker isn't the one who asked Piper if she was a virgin, it was actually Mr. Julius. Trucker told him that you can't ask that but Piper answered anyway.
