Teen Witch might be one of the Cheesiest movies of the 80's.. From the dialogue, to the corny dance numbers, to the 80's outfits, some might think this movie is a mess. So What IMO makes it so watchable and entertaining. Two Words, one lady Robyn Lively.. Robyn Lively plays Louise Miller, a Teenager having trouble fitting in, at High School, getting the hunky High School Quarterback to notice her and coming out of her shell.. This all changes when on her 16th Birthday she discovers she has witch-like powers. The power to cast spells. The power to make a fool of her most annoying and evil teacher. To make the popular girls, look bad and yes even the power to make herself popular and get The Hunky QB to realize what he's been missing.. Teen Witch has enough plot problems and corny moments that unless the lead in the film was amazingly adorable and lit up the screen, it wasn't going to work. Luckily Robyn Lively does just that. She is lovable in every moment in this film. From the beginning when she is shy and awkward to her Ascension as the new, beautiful, most popular girl on campus, she makes this movie work. Watch Teen Witch once. Then watch it, a few more times. Trust me when i tell you Robyn will keep getting cuter every time you see it..

This is one of my favorite movies. It is a cute 80's movie that includes some hilarious witchcraft - along with an important message. Louise is not very popular and only has one friend, Polly. On a stormy night, Louise gets a palm reading by Madame Serena. It turns out that Louise is a witch and she will receive her powers on her 16th birthday. Louise uses her powers to become change her look, popular, and win the heart of Brad, the school heartthrob. In the end, Louise decides that she does not want to "force" Brad to like her through magic, that being herself is good enough, and that being popular is not all its cracked up to be. This is a great theme and it works well in this cute movie.

I first saw it on HBO when I was 12. I personally thought it was great. It may have had it faults but I loved the fashion and the transformation. I thought it had a good ending to very heartfelt. The only actor in the movie I recognized was that lady that played in Polthergeist.Weird. But sometimes underrated films are the best films. But NOT ALWAYS. Its faults could have been the singing outbursts I never like them in a movie and I think they could have gotten someone better to play the popular guy, I don't even know who that guy is??? But I knew who Robyn Lively was because she played in the Karate Kid Part 3. Anyways a memorable movie for me very fun, and edgy.

OK. i was driving with my sister in Seattle ( capitol Hill) and on the marquee of the Egyptian theatre was "teen witch" for midnight movie on fri and sat nite the 11/ 11 and 11/ 12 2005. I almost drove off the road. I love this movie. its cheesy, campy 80's fabulousness makes me watch it every time its on TV. So I had to see it on the big screen. I was tired , and thought i might skip it.. but something told me to go.. so me my sister and friend went. As I was walking into the theatre, I swear the star of the movie, Robyn Lively, was standing right next to me. but i brushed it off and said it couldn't be her. Was I wrong!!! the writer of the music in the movie comes out and tells us Robyn was there ready to talk about the movie and take pix and sign autographs!! She really was a sweetheart!! she talked about the movie.. " I enjoyed making out with the Tom cruise wanna be, brad" and talked about the DVD and how the studio didn't want to have her add commentary, because they didn't want to put the money into it. what a shame!! she is a pretty lady and so nice. she took pics with everyone and signed autos.. there were a lot of fans there and it was one of the most fun midnight movies ever!!! I'm SO GLAD i went. the audience totally participated in the film and it was a laugh riot. go buy the DVD if u don't love this movie you suck its fun and i love the characters ( especially the brother) and the music is hilarious ( love Shana)
