A shockingly good story! When I first sat down to watch this, I knew nothing about it. I'd never heard of it before Netflix suggested it to me. The first few minutes were really bad. The actors were unknowns, and quite frankly, their acting was pretty bad. I figured I'd give it a few more minutes to see if it improved any, and if not, I was going to shut it off. An hour later, I'd completely forgotten about turning it off. I was engrossed. The acting wasn't any better, but the story was amazing. Yes, I figured out the ending, and usually that irritates me, but this time it added to the story. It was as if Tyler Perry wanted the audience to know what was coming. I gave this 8/10 stars, despite the bad acting, just on the basis of the story itself.

This movie seems to say a lot about how the director believes women should behave, and none of it is what would be considered "empowering." If you somehow didn't pick up on the subtext, you might think this was just a mediocre soap opera about a wife who was tempted into an affair by a wealthy entrepreneur. Her husband seems to bring it on himself by being such an inattentive milquetoast. Except that Tyler Perry clearly believes that a man has every right to live a life devoid of ambition or enthusiasm and still expect his wife to wait on him obediently. Most of the performances were fine, although Kim Kardashian is laughable. You get a twist ending and a bleak final shot to help everyone understand just what a hell your life will be if you choose a life of sin. What a silly little film.

Oh my goodness this movie was the bomb! First I must say that the lesson taught in this movie is accurate, cheat on your loving faithful spouse and there will be consequences, you may not see the consequences immediately but your sins will eventually find you out, and they did for the unfaithful wife. And she had to live with the consequences even though everyone forgave her for the infidelity. Secondly, it showed how easily it is to fall into an inappropriate relationship, that's why I think Kim Kardashian did a great job of acting (although largely playing what she does in real life, which is to be concerned with the externals). It was Kim's influence of external beauty that fueled the fire of the movie. I tell you this film is one that will keep you on the straight and narrow in your personal marital life. This is a must see movie!

the movie was quite beautifully made, so i gave a three star and the story line was quite a surprise at the end even though everything else was very predictable. the Judith character just doesn't make sense. i don't know what got into the mind of the story write or does/he know how a woman with ambition of her career just doesn't turn into a crack-head in a few days. why someone with that kind of ambition becomes an drug user within just a few days. if she was Ava to begin with...then the whole story line really make sense. or maybe the movie should say Judith had a bipolar disorder. the whole story line was so make believe without really understand what it takes to be successful. and who on earth would expect their career to take off after working less than 3 years? she supposedly to have a master degree, so she went to college and go straight to graduate school that's totally 6 years. 18+6= 24 years old. did the write know how long does it take to get a master degree. if she's in her mid 30s then this would have made a whole lot more sense. i am convinced the story write got no education at all. and the billionaire - he's a billionaire so he could afford to invest in the matchmaker and Judith's career. it's not like he's buying a huge piece of land in Manhattan and build a 100 story high rise. it seems like this movie is made for someone who doesn't have any sense of how this world work or grew up in a desert island.and why most of T.Perry's movies are about women betraying their husbands for a rich man????
