I give this movie a 6 because while the material definitely has great potential, this fell flat by relying on stereotypes. Jan is a rich woman who has time for only her job, detached, blunt as a spoon Rich Corporate ClimberLytia The poor black version of Jan Sassy Black WomanHillary the softer side of Jan, stay at home Mom who married into money and now that she has little of it she now has an existential crisis. Former Rich Girl May Similar to Hillary except that she's probably more successful of the Moms because she has a career she actually likes as a writer. Her husband isn't in the picture because of a drug addiction. Professional Black Woman Esperanza is like Hillary except for having a boyfriend she doesn't want to have around her daughter because her ex will cut off his voluntary support Latina bombshellSo when I first looked at this I thought it would be really good because when folks pool their resources they become stronger. It was a bit of a letdown because this is something I've seen before, just multiplied with a more diverse cast. I like how they actually let the bigger stereotypes go with Lytia, she could've been drawn a lot worse. Of course they meet men throughout the film that they eventually end up with because it guarantees a happy ending. I think it would've been good to see some of the women remain single because it doesn't always end up that waySo a 6/10 because while it does do stereotypes and some of the humor is corny, this is by no means the worst I've seen.

I think Single Mom's Club is a great idea for a movie. It's certainly not a blockbuster and it's definitely not a box office hit, but it's a cute movie that's probably relatable to many women; single mom or not. There is a lot of great acting and quirky characters in this movie. Each of the 5 women have their own unique situation they are going through, and although some characters are a bit more easy to tolerate than others, they all have something about them that can be appealing. From completely helpless, to stubbornly independent, there is a spectrum of different approaches here to the idea of raising kids by oneself. This movie is ultimately about friendship. It's about the strong bond that can be created when people of similar circumstances put aside their inherent differences and help each other. Yes, there area few plot holes here and there, and the ending is awkward and cheesy, but overall, it's a heartwarming story. A cute girls night kind of flick.

Well...I never wrote a review but this movie seems like i have to... I'm a single mom and this movie was amazing true life story told by different angles.5 moms met at strange occasions and become friends... They helped each other and supported themselves in a very difficult situations. The characters are very well played and the story is interesting till the end. What i loved about this movie is that all the moms are living in different circumstances and the point is that they are all the same-single moms.I recommend this move to all the single moms out there having a trouble dealing with problems and don't know how to move on. Very inspiring movie.

What's wrong with you guys? A good comedy with a nice story, funny jokes and brilliant performances… how many movies of this kind have been made? Why rate it so low (3,8 at the moment I'm writing)?Well I think that this movie is OK, the girls are sexy (some of them to be precise), males are nice (most of them), kids are small, smart, endearing kids and the overall result is a well written, heartwarming comedy.Don't be fooled by the low rating which I think it's going to get higher. I'd give it a 6,5 but since this is impossible, I'll give it a solid 7, just to start.
