Secret of the ooze is such a nice film, a feelgood fun fantasy comed & i grew up watching this & the 1990 classic & love both movies. Part 2 is a great sequel yes it has a much lighter & happy tone rather than the darker more serious tone of the first film but it's still really good & very well made!!! It's also pure 90s Nostalgia especially if you grew up with this movie it's got a lovely vibe to it & it's a nice little time capsule of that early 90s period with the colourful outfits & fun all around so yeah it's got alot of charm to it with the turtles looking great & splinter looking great & it has wonderful set pieces like the AWESOME old abandoned train the turtles find & turn into their new base!!! Also this movie has Awesome 90s music & a great score that's fun but with heart so yeah a great sequel to a Classic that maybe much lighter but still just as fun another childhood classic of mine

I got this on my laptop and watched it for the first time. It was actually pretty good to be honest and I liked how David Warner (of Tron) played a supporting role. Some new faces and a new April O'Neil too made this interesting. As the Turtles get to Dr. Perry, the Shredder has other plans. It's not as good as the first TMNT, but it's pretty good. It's darker than the 1980s to 1990s cartoon but I'll bet that was part of the intention. It'd be closer to the Kevin Eastman/Peter Laird vision. And it worked. The origins of the teen heroes are also explored here. There are some weird moments but otherwise it's not bad.

The first one was wonderful - a cult classic!!! the second movie wasn't too bad either, but definitely not anywhere near as good as the first one. The part at the beginning was amazing!!! The plot is good and interesting. Shredder or "Super Shredder" looks mean and scary than ever before, so that can catch you some interest. The movie shouldn't be taken too seriously though. It's just a good family movie especially if you're a turtles fan. I think it was made considering the success of the first movie, so it's totally understandable why a sequel just had to follow. Personally, I think a sequel wasn't really required, but if it was, Krang as the villain would've been far more fitting, and could've quite possibly or easily rivaled its predecessor. I would say it's an okay sequel.

To be honest, I think I might have slightly liked this one more than the first installment in this trilogy. Although the actress that played Search April O'Neil was just horrendous and the worst Search April O'Neil portrayal in the trilogy. The fight sequences was goofy but fun to watch and the chemistry between the turtles and character still works for this one. Shredder didn't seem that much sinister at all this time around until the very end when he gets jacked up on ooze steroids. The bad guys using the ooze to power up the dog and snapping turtle to fight against the Ninja Turtles was a bit lame. But it did make sense to a degree and didn't really take much out of the movie. However the best part was Vanilla Ice rapping a Ninja Turtles rap while the turtles kick butt on the dance floor. Overall this is a good follow up to the first one in my opinion. This installment even has the most in depth connection when it comes to the turtles on where they came from and what their purpose is (no, not that we were all made from a tube of green ooze). Looking back now, it isn't as cool as I thought it was when I was a kid, but it still has enough to make it watchable even today.6.8/10
