Brothers Johnny, and Adam, grow up care-free in California as adopted sons of Marine veteran Mac, and friends of Iggy. Colonel Chi's military reign of terror culminates in their tiny birth-land, island state Patu San, off the Viet Nam coast. Former royal guards officer Zatch summon the brothers to return and restore the pacific monarchy, because they are the sons of the murdered king, whom Mac took in exile for safety. They are joined on the adventurous journey by a Californian police detective whose attention was drawn by the ninja team that failed, thanks to Zatch, to murder the brothers in Mac's home.....I can really honestly understand why some people would think that this is a great film, it was made twenty years ago, and if I saw this when I were fifteen, I'd probably say the same thing.I didn't, I'm thirty five and saw this last week, but it was because I had to see it, because the poster was fantastic in 1993. Bottom line is, the film isn't very good, the leads are pretty bright and breezy and Schineider looks odd, but it rolls along at a steady pace without bothering anybody or any brain.As for Nielsen, he really didn't need to be in this, probably just in it to attract the Naked Gun audience.If you saw it back in the day, I envy you a little, because I missed it and so did the inner child in me.

What more can you say about this movie? it's got everything! Cheesy effects, parachute pants, a game gear that kicks peoples butts. This movie is obviously for kids, but if you want a good laugh then i suggest watching this film. I was also very surprised to see Rob Schnieder, he definitely made his mark when he did this movie...he has amazing human skills. I loved the parachute pants. I think i might have seen M.C Hammers name somewhere in the credits (stop! hammer time!) Anyways, this film had me in tears. The effects were brutal! I think they might have shot this whole film behind a blue screen, i'm not sure though....The best part of this movie was when the kid hopped into the jeep and ran over the army dudes. First off all the jeep was stick and i don't think a 10 year old can drive manual. Another thing that bothered me was that he was going so slow I don't know how the guys didn't see it coming. Like, he must have been only going 5 clicks..if that. Army dudes when are you going to learn? I also liked how he still had time to say a catchy phrase, get his surfboard posse in the jeep, and then drive away with out being hit by a single bullet. I think it might have had something to do with Rob Schnieder being on the back of the jeep. He probably used his sweet acting skills to block the bullets telepathically. Man, he's good! In conclusion I recommend this move for kids because it has all the right elements that I child would love to see in a film. Now, for the parents or anyone over the age of 18 I think you should really consider watching this movie as a slap stick comedy. Amazing job by the director and cheers to anyone who was a part in making this film. I look forward to seeing sequel.

Wow! This is the best movie ever made period. I grew up watching this movie. I love seeing where I grew up in SoCal in the background. I will admit that the acting is terrible, but that's not what the movie is about! If you want good acting, then you don't watch anything with Rob Schneider in it! It's about laughing and being able to quote every single line in the entire movie to your movie buff friends. Plus, as an added bonus, throughout the entire movie you get to hear the lyrical genius of Tone Loc! What are you waiting for? "Money can't buy knives", but it can buy this amazing movie. This is a kids movie. Do not watch it if you are older than the age of ten. I saw this film when i was seven and i loved it. So by all means rent it for the kids but it probably would not entertain any other age group. I used to love all these ninja movies when i was a kid. It is just something about kids kicking butt that makes a child feel empowered. I even used to have a sega genesis like the youngest surf ninja. This is a spin off of the three ninjas movies, which i absolutely used to love. If you have kids and you want to rent them some movies you should get them the three ninja movies first and then maybe surf ninjas.
