This film is about two brothers who are talented in motorcycle racing. They enter the world of professional Supercross racing, unleashing a new chapter in their lives."Supercross" may be an entertaining film, with plentiful of youthful actors and actresses, much speed and engine noises. However, I think it is limited by the fact that the plot is weak and poorly developed. There are a lot of motorcycle scenes, but it lacks the intensity and energy found in other racing films such as "The Fast and the Furious"."Supercross" is likely to appeal exclusively to fans of this sport. Other people are unlikely to find it engaging or thrilling.

This movie was fun. I feel bad for the hardcore Supercross fans though, since a lot of the details on the bikes were really sloppily done. That is the directors or editors part. Do some research before you put that in the movie. Other than that, some have really spoken up about how bad the acting was in this movie. What? Its not Saving Private Ryan, its a sports movie driven mainly by teens and twenty somethings. The two actors Mike Vogel and Steve Howey do a good job playing brothers trying to survive in the sport of supercross. There love interest are equally appealing. It is a fun movie a couple of things left you scratching your head like what happened to the Carlyles father? I will chalk it up to again, bad editing. This movie is on par with its predecessor Winners take all , an equally entertaining supercross flick. Fun if you are young and into the sport. Bad if you are an old man watching it with your young kids or real hardcore supercross fan.

I have just seen this movie on DVD and I though it was great. Comments have been made about the bad dialogue and bad acting but I thought it was pretty much spot on. A lot of young people speak like that today, including me and I thought it was a pretty accurate depiction of what goes on in the real world. The acting was quite good too, the actors were great at getting across the emotional intensity of a situation on screen. Mike Vogel is a great actor and this is another solid performance in the sports genre for him as he gave a great performance in 'Grind' starring alongside Adam Brody. This is a great movie for any extreme sports fans. Even if you don't like extreme sports, I am pretty sure you will still like this film.

"Supercross" more than overcomes a slow start. The movie rips into a new dimension of cycling portrayal, combining crispy-clean and spectacular event photography with rich pulsing sound. The highlights of the film "Supercross" have to be the motor-bike photography. The quality only gets better as the action evolves. Everyone into advanced cinematography or cycle racing has to see "Supercross" because the THQ Las Vegas Championship races are worth watching over and over again!!! The closing moments deep and "coloured" mesh of film technique will be best appreciated on a Big Screen. The simple romantic drama is at least worth sitting through, and possibly enjoyed after all. Fresh young talent like Sophia Bush, Cameron Richardson, Ryan Locke, and Channing Tatum grace the screen. Likewise experienced racers David Pingree and Tyler Evans.A variety of music works, especially the opening credit sync and a ballad theme that has a good feel to it."Supecross" is different. The plot is very simple and the dramatic approach asks only that you enjoy what the movie has to offer without asking why.
