"G-Force" was interesting in the way it was presented. It wasn't really like any other kids movie I have seen. But, in this case that wasn't a good thing. This was a very modern children's movie. There were a lot of computers in the movie and the world "download" was stated multiple times. "G-Force" mentioned global extinction, Facebook, it contained a lot of current cultural humor, and popular songs on today's radio were played throughout the movie.I am curious to know what age range this movie is aimed for. I felt it was an extensive plot for small children and there was a lot of flirting between the characters throughout the movie. But I'm not sure that ten-twelve year old kids are interested in a movie about guinea pigs. If it was aimed for small children I think it was definitely inappropriate."G-Force" was definitely too long. It was interesting and was full of good actors (people and voices) but I just didn't like it. It didn't do it for me. Something about it bothered me. Maybe it was that I didn't feel it was good for children. I think it was stuck between appealing to children and appealing to adults taking their children to the movies and just couldn't find its place.

Seeing a low rating, expecting a clichéd trash and predictable animation, I must admit, out of all major animation titles since 2000, this piece of art deserves more than just a mere movie. It deserves a franchise.I don't know what people dislike. Perhaps I haven't watched enough spy- fi, Missions Impossible or whatever. But for cartoon, I think this was enough detail to be both stylish and not to the level of utter redundancy of Spy Kids. The animation, the soundtrack(huge kudos for O Fortuna), the humor(some lines are just quote-able)... but most importantly - the action. I thought Madagascar 3's action is the top of the chart. It still may be, but out of all the movies, this should be 2nd or 3rd(for me).Sure, it has a lot of cliché and convenience. It has a lousy plot and ending, but of all the definitions of happy - it's one thing when the ending makes you want it NOT to be happy. It's totally the opposite when you want it to be exactly like that.It may not have enough to be among the top ranked media, the 9\10. But it's damn worth an 8. So sad when such masterpieces dust in history, while sub-par moneymakers get their advertisement paid off.

A good children's movie would be fast moving, with an engrossing story, interesting characters, great animation or effects, and some plot points/one-liners/devices aimed at the parents with "a nudge and a wink".G-Force is fast moving, but the rest of my criteria? Strikes out on all accounts despite trying very hard. It's guinea pig characters are caricatures - the 'street-wise' homeboy voiced by Tracy Morgan, the alluring, mysterious femme fatale voiced by Penelope Cruz, and "Darwin" the all-American hero (in guinea pig form). Throw in all the stereotypical sidekicks and there you have it.The story involves appliances going rogue and destroying the world. The only ones who discovered the plan are the guinea pigs and they spend the rest of the movie proving their worth vs the human FBI agents and the bad guys. The 'adult' humour was dialed way too low to teen level. Hearing a guinea pig say "Shizzle" does not amount to comedy for most adults. The kids probably won't get it either. So who is that for? The pre-teens who'll be avoiding this movie like the plague? Big miss.5/10 for trying so hard.

What a great film! I was expecting the cheesiest film mankind has ever seen but the reason why i saw it anyway was because it has guinea pigs in! But i was pleasantly surprised as it wasn't that cheesy, and the cheesy bits were a fun cheesy, not a cringe cheesy. I loved how they made a films about Guinea pigs into an action film. I think it's for the whole family to watch and enjoy. Of course there is nothing offencive in this film since the primary target audience are kids so that was a great bonus. The Guinea pigs have adult voice which normally never works on a animal movie because it spoils their cuteness but the Guinea pigs were still cute. I love this film, i think it's worth the watch and you can make your decision but for me i'm going to say it is a fun movie, not Oscar worthy, but still a great film!
