Thanks Netflix for letting me get a proper look at this drivel. Others have set down why this is a film to avoid so better you spend your time reading a few of them than 2 hours with this dross. "Naval Air Force"? WTH? Three pilots each ticking the PC boxes, cliches in this script abound especially the feeble attempt to sound like real aviators who this film totally insults. When there are fine technothriller books and writers out there why this cartoon junkery?

If the reported $135k budget was accurate, this action film squeezed out great production values (some great explosions!), plus Jessica Biel to boot. Alas, they should've hired a better writer. Plot is as unfulfilling as can be expected when the main bad guy is AI gone rogue. For example, what of the minor villains? I never figured out their motives or ultimate goals, but it's too painful to re-watch. Now, there's a couple of possible satisfying conclusions: fixing the AI at the last moment before it destroys something; or battling it in a big climactic battle; or turning it back into an ally against an even more dangerous foe. Unfortunately, none of the above occurred. In the end, the AI wasn't intelligent at all - it should've at least been able to detect if there were friends or foes in the vicinity (a basic capability for even non-AI) then act strategically. Yes, I'm calling a self-aware jet stupid for not using built-in radar. Similarly, I'm calling out the writer for not catching that major goof, which made the final showdown, in a word, unnecessary. These aren't spoilers, as you still can't guess what happened or how the climax would've been affected, aside from a battle that shouldn't have ended that way, maybe shouldn't even have happened. Will the knowledge of a screwed up ending keep anyone from watching? I don't intend to stop anyone; for what's it worth, up to that point I was passing Stealth with a 7/10. This is like the lack of anger/outrage in Neo's message in the final scene made me drop Matrix from an overall all-time great 10 rating to an 8.

So this is not a great movie but it's better than the majority of bad reviews.Yes the plot is so-so, yes it's just lots of action with no major plot twists. But the fact is if you go into it knowing this, it's a fun movie with action, explosions and more.Were you a fan of xXx (no not porn, the action movie)? Then you will like this. It's not a movie to watch with the girl friend or wife, it's strictly a guy flick.I would not pay $11 at the theater to watch it but it's worth a rental or free on TV watching especially if you are in the mood for blowing stuff up type movie.

I had a few reasons to watch it. One - it's part of Fox , the second - its advertising in Russia , almost one of the most powerful blockbuster year did the third - just for the most banal of interest ...From the works of director Rob Cohen's I know is not very good . Saw a few movies. For example Daylight Stallone or running man with Schwartz . Personally, I'm very impressed with this director for his work . Filmed with high quality and in good faith. Standing Action , music, escalate the situation , solid drive ... Filming satisfied.In the film were mainly involved three actors Josh Lucas , Jessica Biel , Jimmy Fox. The rest were in the crowd soon . I can see Joe Morton still only known to us by Terminator 2 . In general, all played well .Josh Lucas appeared before us a sort of " Rambo ." Why ? I will not explain , otherwise I get a huge spoiler. Prior to this film actor did not know , but after this film in my memory it is not particularly rebelled , too many duplicates it in Hollywood, such as tough guys saving flick of the wrist , half of the world ...Perhaps the director wanted from him to do Arnold Schwarzenegger , the sample Running Man or Sylvester Stallone of daylight. In my eyes , did not work .Jessica Biel . Well what can I say . Typical girl showing us stamina and courage , not characteristic of the fair sex. Before the film , especially with her creativity and come across to me in this movie, she was so little resemblance Ellen Ripley from Alien . Here, maybe I'm wrong .
