Lovell Milo is a man who begins experiencing his life out of order; every day he wakes up at a different age, on a different day of his life, never knowing where or when he’s going to be once he falls asleep. He’s terrified and wants it to stop - until he notices a pattern in his experience, and works to uncover why this is happening to him - and what or who is behind it.

Shuffle just gets some ideas from other movies (Memento, Butterfly effect, and a couple more) and makes an interesting movie for the first 20 minutes or so. Then it goes out of control, gets dark and slow, and you know an uplifting end is coming...sometime. But it just drags on and on until you reach - not an uplifting- but terribly corny ending. And I mean it, the end was just missing bunnies and sweets falling from the sky to make it the corniest ending in film history.Aside from that, you have to watch an entire hour of a film solely based in a "dreamy" visual effect out of the Big Giant's Looks (anyone with a slight knowledge of After Effects or any film editing software knows what I mean). There's also a "revealing" scene which is supposed to happen in slow motion or halted time...and the background is a bad photograph of a poorly lit street. Anyway, you can see the lights as in a bad night photograph, with hard light streaks and not as it would look on film.I don't know, but this movie didn't make it for me, neither it's script or visual style.

A strange choice to shoot this film in black and white. This did not detract from the story-line but seems ultimately pointless. The plot meanders through different life events experienced by Milo and most of the time the journey is enjoyable and sometimes very touching. The plot could have had several different endings and the one I was expecting the most, reuniting with the love of his life would have been satisfactory. The plot revolving around his other family discovered it seems almost by accident, only for me made the final 15 minutes a little drawn out.The acting was superb and all the characters especially Grace were truly believable.Overall very watchable.

I was mind blown from beginning, when Lovell Milo is introduced, to the very end. I had no idea what I was about to see. I had no expectation when I walked through the doors of the movie theater, at the film festival in Los Angeles. I walked out completely blown away by the synopsis of the story of a man that wakes up at a different age in his life. He can be 26 one day and be 40 years old the next. During the movie he tries to figure out how and why this was happening to him. I was at the edge of my seat throughout the whole film trying to figure it out for him. I could not stop talking about it. Kurt Kuenne made this original story into a beautiful art piece. The actors were brilliant. TJ did a wonderful job captivating the audience and making me feel for his situation. I will watch Shuffle again and again. You have to watch this movie and share this with others because it really has a good message in between it all. You will never forget this film and you definitely will not regret it. Kurt did a wonderful job with writing a breathtaking script and bringing it to life.

Gosh!!!! I wish i could give this movie a 10! After seeing "Validation" short movie so many times, i was already a fan of TJ Thyne. Well, he does not disappoint in Shuffle, neither any of the other actors. The plot is clever, the photography is amazing (the B&W really works!), and time flew by as i was living the story... until the VERY END almost ruined it all! I agree with other review here... After those last minutes, i felt like i was slapped on the face, after being swept away! I did not understand the need of that last scene, as everything falls in place without it.Watch it if you can. It's a very nice piece of cinema art! P.S: Only after yesterday's episode of "Bones" i realized that Thyne is Dr. Jack Hodgins!! Maybe my head was focused because i was "getting shuffled" latter on!
