This is a great show, I've never had the pleasure of seeing them live so i was really happy with this. I've seen slain castle before, i did not like it at all. I'm a fan of the older Chili peppers albums and i hated how they didn't play any at SC. If you're a fan of the old stuff too, you'll love this DVD... they played stuff like Subterrain blues and if you have to ask... totally unexpected. As for the DVD quality, it looks as though they didn't mike the crowd. it sounds really dead in there... that takes away from the experience but the boys make it up with an unbelievable performance... (or performances since it's more than one show).

this is the greatest DVD i have ever witnessed... Slane Castle was very good... but the music in this one is just unbelievable. Brings a tear to my eye every time i listen to Search & Destroy 8 minute ending, it is just amazing music. The small problem is the atmosphere of the crowd... THEY SUCK! why weren't they screaming and jumping i mean they had just witnessed the greatest music of their lives and there just standing there. The strongest point of the DVD apart from Search & Destroy was the jams.. they were all amazing ESPECIALLY the one at the end of If You Have To Ask just to close of the song.If you like Red Hot Chili Peppers, watch this DVD and not once either.. first time you most likely wont like it because of how rough Red Hot Chili Peppers look and how bad the camera is and just the atmosphere, but after watching it more and more you will realize how unbelievable the music is. The more i watch it the more i learn

I am hopefully not among a few to enjoy and experience the energy that the Red Hot Chili Peppers have spewed at us. As a proud owner of every record they have released and DVD, I am thrilled that they still played their obscure punk/funk from as early as there second album. (freaky styley) Although they demonstrate the ability to deliver unfaultered ballads such as 'I could have lied' and 'Otherside'. Their true strengths are the performances of their earlier songs which got them to where they are. You wont see any other band move like they do. Flea makes love with his instrument as appose to hiding behind it. Frusciante's presence is strong as he and Flea communicate on a higher level. Absolutely amazing to watch. More than a mere rock concert, it is a feast for the senses!
