Peter Pan Trailers

In stifling Edwardian London, Wendy Darling mesmerizes her brothers every night with bedtime tales of swordplay, swashbuckling and the fearsome Captain Hook. But the children become the heroes of an even greater story, when Peter Pan flies into their nursery one night and leads them over moonlit rooftops through a galaxy of stars and to the lush jungles of Neverland.

A seductive adaptation of a well known universe. Nice plot, good performances. And inspired use of the technique. A classic story in the right new clothes.

I have never seen any other Peter Pan films or the plays so I don't have much to compare to, but I really enjoyed this! The story is simple but nice, and the concept of not wanting to grow up is relatable. The acting is great and it has a satisfying ending.

We only saw this movie because my 14-year-old son and a friend ended up seeing it for free at a theater's summer movie series. They thought it was cool. Turned out it was. It's more like a grown-up's Peter Pan, one that we can all recognize ourselves in at a particular point in our lives. It's beautifully filmed, and Jacob Isaacs is a splendid Captain Hook. Jeremy Sumpter and Rachel Hurd-Wood are excellent, reminding me of how Romeo and Juliet should be played, and, yet, never are. And Lynn Redgrave's character, although it wasn't in the book or any other films, is a nice addition.

the writers were true to the book. they made a few changes but for the most part they stuck to the book so well that I could tell what chapter they were on. they changed the ending tho, he never came back to get Wendy for spring cleaning and children chanted they believed in fairies instead of clapping other than those I didn't mind the changes so much. Overall...jolly well done :) none of the killings that take place in the book and movie are shown, there isn't more than a few scratches shown as far anyone getting hurt. Peter plays by the rules and always in good form although he never says the words "bad form" in the movie like he does in the book.
