What I learned from the reviews is that I should never skip a movie just because people hate it or didn't understand the movie or didn't even watch it but they left a negative review and now the movie should be thrown away in junk. I really like this movie and I actually enjoyed watching it , even if you think this movie isn't suitable for the kids, it still teaches us that no matter what life throws at us and how many problems we have, we must stick together and don't let anything ruin our little family, after all, we're a family and we're the happiest around our family members, even when we have problems and even when we're not getting along pretty well - we should NOT GIVE UP on our FAMILY ! If you ask me , that's a pretty valuable lesson which should be learned even before people decide to have their own ...

I love animated films. But this movie was awful. Well the animation was spot on. The plot was scattered. The message you do get from the plot was disturbing. While I know not everyone is happy with their lives the misery of all the main characters was shoved down your throat. It was just uncomfortable. It tried to be funny but fell flat.Not to mention the whole cast is British but the main characters are from the US. Everyone has an English accent which I love but makes no sense when the first part of the movie is in the US...right? Whatever I was not a fan.

This movie is one-way, which means that from the beginning it follows a way and you know what will happen.The actors are the most British,and that makes the film not very nice.The characters are good but not perfect.

I love animated kids movies. Not this one though....Everything about this movie was ridiculous. I was just waiting for it to be over. It felt like they just threw it together. The "idiot" farting lazy dad was just gross and even if there was a lesson at the very end, it was a bad way to portray a father through a children's movie. I watched it for free too so not even angry about wasting money.... should have looked at reviews before watching with child.
