My parents made me watch this movie and I pretty much hated everything about it. The characters were all very bland and are very forgettable. The performances go from pretty bad to just fine, which makes for a very uninteresting movie. The plot was predictable and it didn't feel like the director was really passionate about this story and wanted it to be told. The music is either something you could find on a royalty free website or just some pop song. The cinematography nearly all of time was very dull with only a few interesting shots and some with good shot composition. The dialogue is just very tame and like most things in this movie, unforgettable. But the main problem with this film is probably the comedy. I only chuckled about twice during this movie as most of the jokes were predictable or obnoxious with most of them just being " ha old people shouldn't being doing those things but they are." Overall this movie is pretty bad, boring and bland and I would not recommend. 2/10 with some interesting shots every twenty minutes and a good moral sprinkled in there.

When ive seen the cast and the trailer i though that this movie was going to be a failure but i was wrong. Popular actors like Robert deNiro, Morgan Freeman and Michael Douglas made this movie an intriguing one. The story is simple, comic and sometimes things like this happen in real life. It was like a ride and like you've atended to the party, I feeled good and liked what i watched. It was like watching a teen movie about true love in a comic way but portrayed by old people and made us realise that friendship lasts forever even they got separated across the country. It had turn-overs and very funny scenes, I recommend watching it with friends nonetheless

Billy (Michael Douglas), Paddy (Robert De Niro), Archie (Morgan Freeman) and Sam (Kevin Kline) all grew up in Brooklyn-Flatbush and were thick as thieves. Now, many, many, many years later, changes have come along. Sam lives in Florida with his wife but is utterly bored with life. Not even a water aerobics class cheers him up. Similarly, Arch resides with his caring, helicopter son, for A has had a mild stroke and his offspring hovers over him daily. In Brooklyn, Paddy is in morning, for his wife of 60 years has passed away. He doesn't even want a free meal from his attractive young neighbor, as it involves opening up the door! But, oh ho, these three are about to experience a game changer. Billy, who has never married but is QUITE a successful businessman in Malibu is finally going to take the plunge with a woman half his age. When he calls Sam with the news, the Floridian arranges a Vegas bachelor party on the spot, as that is where the wedding will take place. S, A, and P will be flying to the city pronto, although Paddy has to be strong- armed. Once they are all reunited, they set out to have a ball. But, in one of the lounges, an attractive older female, Diana (Mary Steenburgen) is singing away. Both Paddy and Billy take a shine to her! Wait, isn't Bill about to get hitched? There may be complications! This romp with the Golden Boys is a hoot! Watching these acting pros bounce their way through the film is most enjoyable. Ditto for Steenburgen, who looks amazing and is always a charming performer. Although the other qualities of the movie, from costumes, sets, script, and direction, are up to snuff, the viewer gets the feeling that Douglas, Freeman, De Niro, and Kline could have turned lesser material into gold as well. Do not wait for the last ANYTHING for a chance to view this winner.

Last Vegas (2013): Dir: Jon Turteltaub / Cast: Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, Kevin Kline, Mary Steenburgen: An elderly version of The Hangover only it totally lacks the laughs and clever writing of that great comedy. Title regards the conclusion of youth and innocence. Michael Douglas stars as the centre piece of four friends that go back to childhood. He is getting married to a woman thirty years his junior and he contacts his friends for a weekend bachelor party in Vegas. Robert De Niro plays an estrange friend who resents Douglas because he failed to attend his wife's funeral. This resentment runs deeper before the conclusion reveals deeper pain. Morgan Freeman is on pills is monitored by his son so he must sneak out undetected. Kevin Kline plays the fourth wheel whose wife gives him an envelop that contains a Viagra pill and a condom. While he does have an uncomfortable encounter with men in drag, it is obvious that he will not cheat on his wife even when the opportunity presents itself. The female roles are unfortunately underwritten and placed as props for romantic clichés. The cast is wonderful but the screenplay is as bland as the lights going out in Vegas. The Hangover is brilliant but here it doesn't quite hit the laugh factor. Director Jon Turteltaub has done better films such as While You Were Sleeping and National Treasure: Book of Secrets. He doesn't totally miss here thanks to a great cast and a theme of age and friendship. Big fans of the actors will be curious but Vegas is always better with the Wolf Pack in the dawn of the boozing. Score: 5 ½ / 10
