The Creeper (Jonathan Breck) returns to terrorize a group of young high schoolers on the empty highway. The monster comes out to hunt for 23 days every 23 years and on his final day he wants to eat as many people as it can especially after having to burn its dreadful mosaic of human flesh in the first film. The opening scene shows the Creeper stealing the son of the farmer Jack Taggart Sr. (Ray Wise). The farmer then starts to assemble weapons to hunt down the beast after finding one of the Creeper's weapons. Meanwhile, a school of football jocks who just won the state championship speed down the highway in a yellow school bus until one of their tires bursts. Coach Hanna (Thom Gossom Jr.), Coach Barnes (Tom Tarantini), and bus driver Betty (Diane Delano) discover a strange weapon made of bone with a human tooth in the center. On the bus, a radio hints at the events from the first film. The students hang around and we get introduced to a racist football star Scotty (Eric Nenninger), his girlfriend Rhonda (Marieh Delfino), an actual football star Deaundre (Garikayi Mutambirwa), and the school paper journalist Izzy (Travis Schiffner) who everyone accuses of gay. The film doesn't go for subtlety and the acting is terrible so the only redemption is we know that most of these people will be killed shortly. There are other students but the other cheerleader Minxie (Nicki Aycox) has a vision of the victim from the first film Darry pointing into a field. The coaches and bus driver get the bus going again but another foul weapon stops it at night. Check out more of this review and others at swilliky.com

The small town is aware of the horror that is going on but apparently it hasn't reached a farm. On this farm a young boy is stolen by the creature, which leads his father and older brother to do a search. At the same time a bus full of football players and cheerleaders come under attack and soon the two parties will be teaming up to try and destroy the creature.Sadly, when it comes to horror films, is a film makes money then a sequel is bound to follow. Victor Salva's JEEPERS CREEPERS turns out to be a pretty big hit and it was an actual good movie but sadly none of the creativity that was in the first film carried over to this sequel. There are all sorts of problems with this movie but I'm going to place the majority of the blame on the screenplay, which just takes all the fun and originality from the original movie and throws it out and instead we're given a bunch of boring characters and a pretty bland situation. For the life of me I don't know why Salva kept so much of the action inside this bus. The screenplay throws in some rather bizarre subplots dealing with "types" of characters and I'm really not sure why it's here. I mean, did it add anything to the film? Certainly not anything entertaining as the only thing it added was minutes to an already overly long picture. Another problem I had with the film is that there were way too many characters and not a single one that you really liked or cared for. With such a long running time and no likable characters there's just not much to keep you entertained. The first film worked perfectly because it built up a rather creepy atmosphere and the mystery of the creature worked. Those two things are also missing here as it seems they were just going for some bigger special effects but in the end they didn't add much to the film. It's really too bad JEEPERS CREEPERS II didn't work.
... View MoreThe original Jeepers Creepers was an overrated and awful movie. This one was great. I can not believe how mush better it is then the original Jeepers Creepers. Sequels are most of the time better then originals in spite of what people say. But most of the time if the original is not very good the sequel is not going to be that good either. But this movie so mush better then the first one. It is one of the scariest movies ever made. This movie has a great story line. It also has great acting. It also has great special effects. The first had great special effects to. But the story line was awful. This one had a great story line. This movie is a must see. Ray Wise is a great actor. Jonathan Breck is a great actor. See this movie.

View MoreJeepers Creepers 2 (2003): Dir: Victor Salva / Cast: Ray Wise, Eric Nenninger, Nicki Aycox, Garikayi Mutambirwa, Luke Edwards: Every bit as stupid as the original and it is filled with characters that are about as bright as a pile of cow dung. The creeper apparently feeds every 23 years and in the opening scene it makes off with a boy that thought it was a scarecrow. His father and brother make chase and are surprised when it takes flight. Cut ahead to a bus load of moron football playing teenagers who become stranded when a boney object is found embedded in one of the tires. Before long the adults are snagged leaving the teenagers to bicker while the creeper places them on the lunch menu. They use the bus radio to call for help and it is overheard by the farmer in the film's opening who arms his truck with a harpoon. Stupid and irritable showcasing special effects and mayhem. Directed by Victor Salva who made the very stupid first movie as well as another annoying piece of sh*t called Powder. Ray Wise at least is putting in a reasonable effort as the farmer who is aiming for revenge and justice against the creature who violated his family. Luke Edwards plays the older brother of the first victim who witnesses the attack in the film's opening. The teenagers unfortunately have more air in their heads than a hot air balloon. The bus should be driven over this senseless junk. Score: 2 ½ / 10
