The film is overall all right, it has some great ideas and some very nice scenery and props, but the story is definitely better for the first part of the movie then the end, they should maybe have worked a little more with that.I do mostly like the things that are taking part on the moon itself, there is a lot of imagination, clever outfits, great scenery and all-in-all those parts works very well. The parts that take place on earth are good in the attack and plan revealing, but the presidential things are mostly lame and not even funny.I will give this film a little extra for the very obvious ode to the genre and the clever references, even the clothing and scenery deserves some credit. This is entertaining and worth a watch, might even get Cult status at some point :)

This movie is a cut above the Hollywood sci-fi films of late.It goes to show, on a small budget a movie with the right dedicated crew can easily punch above it's weight. The team of great actors, vfx artists and the film crew have put together a totally original film at a fraction of a Hollywood big budget movie and in every way have delivered a benchmark for others to follow.Great humour , big acting, spot on direction, all are the perfect ingredients to get you right into this movie. It's fun, it is mad, it's visually stunning and a fantastical journey into original film making.Nazis landing on the moon ..how much more bonkers can you get ? Loved it !

This was a fantastic use of a relatively low budget, a preposterous (in the good sense) premise that becomes a starting point for hilarious and engaging situations, and interesting social commentary. This is the kind of movie that we need to see more of, in this age of reboots, sequels/prequels, spin-offs, etc., we are too used to giving a pass to lack of originality as long as a lot of budget is thrown to special effects, explosions, high-profile actors, etc. A well put together, original, risk-taking low independent movie, that in the process of making you laugh at the absurd situations, leaves you also thinking about human greed, power-hunger and its possible consequences. Forget about the Hollywood formula, get ready to accept the limitations of a low budget, and fully enjoy the well thought-out craziness this movie proposes.

US astronauts disturb a Nazi moonbase, and the Nazis launch an expedition to earth to pick up a computer tablet to power their final invasion using a super-fuel mined from the moon.Hectic spoof sci-fi that's totally illogical, full of plot holes, and yet turns into a good satire. Effects are done really well, plenty of other movies referred to (including the music), and closest in spirit probably to Flash Gordon from 1980.It does hurry itself along, so the pace is good but at the expense I think of decent character based gags. The acting was good, particularly the females - the lead was very charming, and the president and her sidekick were mean and brisk.A final plus is that some US reviewers don't like fun being poked at their awful political system.Overall not great, but it was refreshing.
