"Nazi's from space"... With that as a byline I went into this film with the expectation to be amused and certainly not to look at this movie too critical or anything. And it has done exactly that! When the first nazi popped up with the luger pointing at the astronaut I was like: 'Fallout in space', halfway through the film when the Kirovs (yeah I know, I just prefer that as it feels more iconic to me) were in in orbit I felt a mixture of pleasant Independence day-esk slash Star Wars space battle coming up and when the stylish captain of the american railgun vessel came I was like, yeah there we are. And from that moment onwards you would be waiting for them to activate the Death Star class battleship that was still stationed in the moon hangar. And what was cooest about that is that with the retro-futuristic approach to the design of those ships, damn awesome! Mix this entertaining movie up with good humor and women who please you with their goodies you know that you will be leaving this film with a smile on your face!Because this film also introduces itself in a way that calls for the viewer to allow themselves to enjoy, and not be overcritical I feel this movie knows exactly where it should be placed in the world and it delvers good on that. If you can appreciate that, definately one to have seen in your life.

The only thing worse than killer rock creatures on the moon are Nazis. Astronauts discover Nazis on the far side of the moon harvesting Helium-3. (Fusion material) Soon a war erupts. The film spoofs modern society with a Sarah Palin style President who only cares about getting re-elected.Worth a rental. I picked mine up at Ollie's used Blockbuster DVD bin for $1.99.Guide: F-word. NO sex or nudity.

A brilliant B-movie with inspired content and direction. Some reviewers seem a little miffed at it's popularity, resorting to the favourite 'negative review' comment of 'fake reviewers'.Really? Are you that butthurt that people like something you don't? Guess you thought 'Moon' by Sam Rockwell was a cult classic?I wonder if the caricature of Caribou Barbie offended some reviewers?Back to the title though, excellent execution, intriguing storyline and cute moments from all characters. If you've got a sense of zany or, like me, are a fan of alternate history, this comes highly recommended.

This was a fantastic use of a relatively low budget, a preposterous (in the good sense) premise that becomes a starting point for hilarious and engaging situations, and interesting social commentary. This is the kind of movie that we need to see more of, in this age of reboots, sequels/prequels, spin-offs, etc., we are too used to giving a pass to lack of originality as long as a lot of budget is thrown to special effects, explosions, high-profile actors, etc. A well put together, original, risk-taking low independent movie, that in the process of making you laugh at the absurd situations, leaves you also thinking about human greed, power-hunger and its possible consequences. Forget about the Hollywood formula, get ready to accept the limitations of a low budget, and fully enjoy the well thought-out craziness this movie proposes.
