having just watched infested I cannot help be struck by the complete absence of location work, was it just me or did the whole thing look like it had been filmed in and around the directors house? with special emphasis placed on the protection of his precious land-rover which was a prominent feature throughout. the deaths were more green-mile than black-plague with the micro dots that represented bugs flying out of people's mouths and into someone elses (who invariably screams and provides the bugs with free passage.) the thing that stood out most, however, was the obvious no-nudity clause held by the leading brunette; who, even when she was attacked in the shower, always had one thing on her mind: "keep yourself completely covered" (now there's a girl who knows her priorities!) see this film to see how to make low budget horror, with only a garden, microsoft paint and a lot of patience.

This film is a catastrophe. It is amazing that some one actually created and produced this mix-up-crap of film. This movie has almost no dialogue, lost any sense of humuor and The whole point of the movie is missing. In addition the act in this movie are so awful that it goes beyond my imagination.I really hope that every copy of this film will be eradicated in a not so distant future and that John Olsen is fired because of this horrible movieWarning: Do not try to buy or borrow this movie. You will waste priceless time on it!!!!!!!!

Night of the Living Dead meets The Big Chill meets Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets Lord of the Flies meets a Power Ranger and Lt. Paris, yeah, that pretty much covers it, oh yeah, and weird soundtrack featuring Trio's Da Da Da and some Eddie Money? A LOT of different elements meet and mix, some hot babes, one partially naked, the Pink Ranger teases us with a shower scene, and a plot about possibly mutated flies gives us some cool dead bodies, a bit of gore, and a case of the heeby jeebies the nest time a fly lands on you... GREAT B-movie here, and the in-joke regarding Amy Jo Johnson (why hasn't anyone offered her a GOOD part?) is priceless.....worth the rental

I rented Infested being a big Zach Galligan fan, hoping to see billy peltzer himself doing some heroic deeds, instead I find a satisfying B-Movie. A group of old friends meet to lament over one of their own's passing. They are all the cream of the modern day yuppie crop, yet not unlikable. The pacing is good, and you get to know some of the characters pretty well, until they start getting (and im not making this up) Possesed by flies......Then the movie takes a turn for the absurd when characters try to infest others, and so on. The movie is not a great movie by any means, but is suitable for a rental, or if you can pick it up cheap. There are some creepy scenes (never look at showers the same way again..) and some quite gory scenes. The fly effects are done well, but the whole idea of the movie is very odd and somewhat confusing on first viewing. It was refreshing to see Tom paris from star trek, (robert duncan mcneil) Billy Peltzer from Gremlins (zach galligan), and The Pink Ranger (Amy Jo Johnson) in the same movie, and all three do the best job of any of the actors. Robert Duncan Mcneil is the BEST out of the three, and thats saying a lot, but I think if Zach and him had the same amount of screen time, Zach would have shone through. The special effects are good, nothing groundbreaking, just a bit beyond basic CGI. Overall the movie will have you singing "da da da" all night long, even if you arent a big fan of any of the main players.
