The movie is about a story of best friends who move away after school, but after years, they realize that they both miss their friendship. They find out that they still like each other communicate again, until one day they meet again on the boy's wedding day. It's a really good movie to watch, when you start, you can't stop anymore, you get curious about what is going to happen, if they are going to be together or not. It's a quiet movie, to relax your mind, but really exciting!

My wife and I found this movie on Amazon Prime streaming. It is set in the UK and in Boston, actually filmed in Ireland and Canada primarily.Lily Collins is grown up Rosie Dunne, and Sam Claflin is grown up Alex Stewart. They have been friends since they were very young, visiting each other, doing things together, talking to each other about other boys and girls they might be attracted to. But always "just friends."Rosie has aspirations to become a hotel manager and eventually own her own hotel, Alex wants to be a doctor. He gets into Harvard for Medical studies and asks Rosie to join him, Boston College has a good Hotel Management curriculum. Alex goes but Rosie stays behind. So the stories progress for a number of years, in fact 12 after they finish high school in the UK.The actors do fine jobs with their characters, and I am especially impressed with Lily Collins, she has to play the character with a number of different nuances. We enjoyed the movie.SPOILERS: Rosie is a bit of a tramp when young and at 18 has sex with a guy she hardly knew. The condom slips off, later she finds out she is pregnant, doesn't tell Alex and fails to join him in Boston. He eventually does find out but Rosie and Alex end up with different spouses, hers cheats on her and she splits. Alex's girlfriend turns out incompatible with him, at the very end Rosie and Alex get together right when she has opened, using the inheritance from her dad who died on a trip to France, her own small hotel, on a seaside cliff in Ireland. Through all this she did a fine job raising her daughter who was now 12 when the movie ends, and she too has a boy who has become her best friend.

I start to watch Love, Rosie since Sam who plays in Me Before You, play as well as Alex in Love, Rosie. I was so mesmerized by him ( You have to check him in that movie. A heart touching one which gives a realistic point of view about love and life, dream and hope. )Sad to be told, the plot itself is quite interesting at first but getting lame along with the story. It's a story about two best friends, who knows each other so well, so close, and everything goes well until love grows up between them. They struggle to be together, but always miss the timing. We can say, every moment and event turn out to separates them so they end up with the others. Both Alex and Rosie, play the role well. The chemistry does exist between them. Though, the lack of development of all the characters can be seen through the story. Iwas hope there was more than that. Sometimes, the pattern which separates them, over and over again, makes the story appears as boring and unrealistic one. It is still a good movie though, for those who likes romance and the idea of fated loved.
