This movie was simply the most unexpected, touching, emotional story of a teenager dealing with family trauma. With a completely unexpected meaning, the movie kept you wondering and changing your mind about the plot the whole time. If you are a cryer this movie will get you but also if you just need to wake up. This movie is an eye opening masterpiece that deserves more than 10 stars.

What a well made, beautiful movie of a young girls struggle. Too bad for the people who were hoping for harry Potter 14 and were set with both feet on the ground by this movie

Honestly I know the movie is supposed to be mildly misleading, however I simply sat down expecting a sci fi action type movie. It is probably a better movie than I'm giving it but, my expectations were so different. It's like expecting to drink soda and, it is actually milk.

Yeah, chick flick with two minutes of giant monster action. Nothing to see here. I am starting to miss the days when giant monster weren't popular. Oh, and a little note to the director; don't hide the most compelling part of the plot at the end as some kind of BS surprise or you're just giving people a mostly filler movie.
