humanity's's end 2009 is a a pure spoof film from start to finish its a joke on all the science fiction films ever made.the story:last man on the earth is chased by Nephlilim.the cast:except the babes in this film there is no one watchable and a guy who looks like George colony.its got some nice cgi and space action scenes but the story, dialogs and direction is so hilarious that you cant help but burst out laughing, includes sex jokes every five minutes.overall if this is what cinema is coming to i am afraid humanity's end is near.my rating is 3/10

Don't let the small budget fool you, in the end it doesn't matter that much.Despite the limited budget, this movie is beautiful, and the story is intriguing. They did quite a remarkable feat with what they had and the obvious 'lack of funding' problems can be easy to ignore :)That being said, the lack of polishing does show, the storyline is slightly "jumpy", skipping ahead, things not leading up as expected, certain areas by far didn't get enough attention, and some things got almost zero attention (You'll SEE what i mean later on the movie), because they obviously ran out of of money. The cast is too small, they don't have enough extras etc.I really would like to see this story as a fully polished product, and more movies of "this universe". The setup is quite a possibility what could happen to human kind in the coming centuries.

Wildly uneven scifi tale about the battle between two branches of humanity for domination that stretches back to the dawn of time and goes all the way out to the stars. The film concentrates on the last survivors of humanity like us and how they fight off the genetically altered bad guys and try to repopulate. You've been here before but sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't, such as out hero's swaggering attitude which come off as the sort of macho BS. The effects are some times great and sometimes really poor. Though for all its technical flaws it kind of almost works, unfortunately the script is so full of useless jargon and its own scifi terms the plot ceases to move. Its as if the film has to keep reminding you its a scifi flick and it kills everything. It makes watching this painful.Take a pass.

Big fan of "great" B movies, but this is a throwback that even I couldn't stand. Always on the lookout for the next Bruce Campbell, I had high hopes for this one.I agree with one of the previous writers in that the opener "backstory" narrative was ridiculously long, as to be painful, and even worse - in a distorted "alien" voice (was that supposed to add some sort of legitimacy to this nonsense?).Unfortunately this film took itself too seriously. Stick some Campbellesque slapstick in there and it had a chance.Oh - title of the movie is "Humanity's End" - but guess what - it doesn't......shock...The entire movie feels like you gave a college class half a million bucks to make a flick. The sets are good, some of special effects are passable, but that's where it stops. No acting, no writing, no directing - it is a mess from beginning to end.Recommended for college students looking into cinema and those of us who love to dig through the "B"s. Not for normal human consumption. Cheers!
