A runaway human slave (Daniel Bernhardt) from Earth's future escapes to the present day.I am being a bit generous in giving this film a 2, because it easily ranks as one of the worst films of all time. Terrible acting, cheesy effects, a film quality that looks like low budget 1970s rather than low budget 1990s...There is probably a cult following for this one, because really, how many films have both dinosaurs and cyborgs? Not too many. And I am sure there are any number of people who watch it just because they enjoy Robert Z'Dar...
... View MoreThis movie is by far, no contest the most terrible movie in existence. This movie is bad before you even put in the disk (Yes it's on DVD), It list's the special Features as, Interactive Menus, Fullscreen Presentation, Scene Selection, Digitally mastered, and Dolby Digital English 2.0(Yes that's a two) Stereo. It's rating from the "Film Advisory Board Rating System" is a "EM" or "Extremely Mature". And i Agree with them, This movie is so bad it's not suitable for any age, or any living thing for that matter (And I include yogurt in that group). I'm dumbfounded as to how they got such a sad excuse for a movie to run for 5 minutes let alone the advertised 82. This movie is so bad it should every razzie just for existing.
... View MoreIt's sad that people can't appreciate a good movie anymore unless it was made with top quality equipment and special effects. Yes, the camera quality is rough at times, same with sound and the effects are definitely low budget. But it is a good movie with a decent storyline. Oerhaps not a must own for everyone, but it's worth seeing definitely. I'd rather watch this low budget movie than some extremely high budgeted movie with Tom Cruise that has no storyline, or worse, a horrible storyline like "Vanilla Sky" or "Me Myself and Irene." Just because it was 'critically acclaimed' by some shallow Hollywood critics, doesn't make it good. Just the same, a movie that isn't Hollywood quality isn't necessarily a bad movie.
... View MoreThis is certainly one of them. This concoction's story is based on man's future as slaves to an alien race or something. Earth is an escape, known as heaven, according to the movie. The story takes place on Earth, and has kick boxing, cyborgs, gangs from the "hood", a bunch of fat people, and oh yeah, dinosaur monster things. The runaway, the main protagonist, claims to be a tool. Repeatadly, he states "I am a tool". Yes, he certainly is. He's being chased by the cyborgs and dinosaur things for some reason. This is something the movie revolves around. This movie is really terrible. The script is horrible. The camera work is crap. It's not interesting. The opening credits last way too long. There's no duologue or action for what seems to be the 1st 15 minutes. Hell, I'm not even sure what I just watched to be real honest with you. It's like a plate of spaghetti, but on TV.There are a couple qualities that are OK. The kick boxing is OK actually. I don't know who (the actors name here) is, but he's probably really into kick boxing or martial arts. Also the dinosaur things aren't done too bad. Don't get me wrong, it's obvious what they are, but I've seen just as bad or worse with other puppets. I don't get the size shifting thing, that's really just bad but still the puppets aren't bad.I would recommend not watching this movie. Surprisingly it's from 1997, but looks like it was made in the 70s. Perhaps it was made in the 70s or 80s, and just not released until 1997. It's a huge pile, you've been warned.1/10
