Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood Trailers

When Ashtray moves to South Central L.A. to live with his father (who appears to be the same age he is) and grandmother (who likes to talk tough and smoke reefer), he falls in with his gang-banging cousin Loc Dog, who along with the requisite pistols and Uzi carries a thermo-nuclear warhead for self-defense. Will Ashtray be able to keep living the straight life?

This is a movie that hits on many truths. Its a funny movie that represents the ghetto. in the white eyes its a exaggerated truth of the hood. in the ghetto eyes its a joke of the code of the streets. The movie will bring up allot of controversy and plays fun of and spoofs of the real world. Almost every part of this movie will bring up personal or beliefs of what you see the perfect hood. Its worth seeing and paying attention to every word and scene in this movie over and over again. Even behind the main parts of the movie can be funny to you. The Waynes brothers are the most genius in this movie then every thing that they have done. I have never seen any movie that is so on and so wrong.

It's hard to find a good parody these days. The likes of scary movie, and other movies in the same vein are wearing kind of thin on actual humor but big on crude sexual gags. This movie however, manages to find a pleasant balance between the two. It manages to be intelligent and at the same time completely disgusting (crackhead lovin' anyone?)I guarantee you'll be in tears the whole movie, from references to other great works of Afro-drama to self parodies so great it almost becomes paradoxical (Like a mailman that just happens to have a "MESSAGE!" every time a character has something wise to say.) I give this movie one of my highest recommendations.

I don't understand the humor in this film. I also found it offensive on how Koreans were depicted in that film, despite how it is actually just a caricature of Koreans in those areas. First, the actors are Japanese, and they make the most rude expressions of Koreans in that film. It disgusts me on how these people are expressed. I felt anger just watching that one scene, and how they were so badly made out in the film. The humor lasts just for one laugh, and then you don't understand why it's even funny. It's crude humor with the most disgusting representation of society there. I found it to be an offensive film overall... Maybe it was just because I never lived in the "hood" or saw any "hood" movies, but I don't intend to either.

I've been wanting to see this movie for a while and I finally did. I thought it was hilarious! The Wayans Brothers take off movies so well.I thought this was a fabulous take off of all the hood movies. All the jokes were very smart, original and funny. The acting was good. They made a really good parody of all the hood characters.I felt some characters were too over the top though, but nothing that bad.I'm sure anyone will find this funny, but only if they've seen some of the hood movies. If they didn't then some of the jokes will stupid.Overall I thought it was a marvelous take off of all the hood movies. An entertaining movie and must see for hood movie fans!Keep up the good work Wayans!
