Multi-platinum rap superstars Redman and Method Man star as Jamal and Silas, two regular guys who smoke something magical, ace their college entrance exams and wind up at Harvard. Ivy League ways are strange but Silas and Jamal take it in a stride -- until their supply of supernatural smoke runs dry. That's when they have to start living by their wits and rely on their natural resources to make the grade.

Anybody who likes Red & Meth has an idea of how great they work together on albums. This is an opportunity for us to see their co-existence on the big screen! The friendship they have in the real world is wonderfully portrayed when they become friends in this movie. Anyone who says this has been done before in movies like the "Friday" series, have no clue what either movie was about. I feel this movie is Half-Baked meets Animal House! As far as a moral theme, they touched on the discrimination of high class toward the lower class. The preppy captain of the rowing team, the Dean of the school both looked down on these two from lower class families. Yes, the main characters were able to get to Harvard by cheating, but when Silas put his mind to work, he made a great botanist. No matter where we come from in life, we all have the ability to great things. When we have people who believe in & support us, we excel greatly!

I am comparing this movie to other "silly pot-head" movies. Method Man and Redman are Silus and Jamal. Two guys from the hood who meet and become roommates at a prestigious university, Harvard. Once they move in on campus, the school will never be the same. They smoke a lot of pot that was grown in soil composed of ashes from Method Man's cremated friend, Ivory. Now, every time they smoke it they get visited by Ivory. There are many practical jokes and very funny stuff going on in this movie. Very entertaining. I also disagree with the previous user's comment about Mike Epps' character "Baby Powder". Mike Epps is FUNNY! Any part he plays is enjoyable because he is a great comedian.

Two guys hook up just before taking a test for admission to college. One Has his mother in his neck the other is an urbal scientist. They end up in an ivy league school. Here they turn everything upside down and show an alternative way to graduation. It's a great movie. The type where you just sit back and enjoy. Great humor runs through the entire film (no wonder with Redman and Method Man, and Danny de Vito as a producer) You don't have to constantly think about whats gonna happen or like thrillers "who's the killer etc.". The movie is simple and just out for some laughs kind of like "Half Baked" with Dave Chapelle. Besides, it's great for treatin' a hangover...

I have seen this movie long time ago (back in 2001)... It was the dumbest comedy with African Americans ghettoist ever. The jokes are simple and plain, the plot is for the kids (actually not - if you don't want your children to start taking' medicines), and the actors are disappointing (from my perspective). Two black males are going to a famous University. There they start to make fun of all the people (especially "crackers" and Asians). I don't even remember how the movie ends... I guess one of the black students is falling in love with the daughter of the president... Don't Know.Don't watch the movie if your IQ is higher than 100.
