cant believe anyone gives more than 2 stars. Waste of time to write more. just filter reviews to "hated it" and y'll be informed. OK, they want 10 lines. Poor acting and dialogs, instead of the dog and crow perhaps. Poor plot, max. 5 minutes could be worth watching if the rest would not be so dumb. set not too bad, if their's a good story. Really no need to say more about this whats worth to add here. You'll not see a new or even good told story. You'll not see good or interesting pictures. Just have a walk in y'r area or take a bike ride through field and forest around y'r place y'll enjoy much better than watch this. It even did not work if you want to watch it why y can't sleep. It so stupid that you are angry about yourself watching it and want to smash something. I'm pretty sure the good reviews are paid by the producers of this waste of celluloid.

this film is not really a horror film, but more of a supernatural thriller like sixth sense. in that sense, it has a ghost and scary scenes, but also focuses on the psychology of its characters. i was intrigued by the characters and got caught up in their tragic love story. yes, there are familiar ghost story elements here, but the story is handled well, with intriguing developments that kept me glued to my seat as the suspense escalated. at several points it sent chills down my spine and gave me goosebumps - my standard for an effective chiller! (it's also got a couple of jump-out-of-your-seat moments!!)... i also really liked the ending!... it involves a twist i didn't see coming (and i saw it with some friends who didn't either)... if Saw 5 or Hostel is your idea of a great horror movie, you should probably skip this one, but if enjoy intelligent, character-based chillers like the Orphanage and the Others, then you will like it.

My husband and I went with a whole group of friends to the Premiere last November (2007) and EVERYBODY thoroughly enjoyed "Conjurer"! I thought the gradual build up of tension was very well done with an underlying feeling of unease and then the completely unexpected jolts of pure fear -- Made all of us jump! You could hear the gasps from the audience!-- were superbly incorporated. A very smooth flowing script from scene to scene -- there was no way to tell that this was in any way a low budget movie as it came across as first rate.Very good acting by the whole cast and kudos to the whole production and directing crew plus make-up and all the other folks involved for putting together a believable and natural movie set.I really enjoyed the fact that instead of blood and gore (which to me is just "yucky" and not scary at all) the movie scares one psychologically. Congratulations on a great job!!

It is only a matter of time before Mix will join the ranks of other talents at the annual Oscar Awards. He has a keen sense of what it takes to mesmerize the audience. In the short while I have seen your work, you continue to both surprise me and entertain me. The public needs to see his original work as we now see it, and I feel it is only a matter of time that you will be going on to even greater challenges, and being a very successful star. As he gains in stardom, more and more actors and actresses will want to be associated with him. What a thrill it will someday be, to hear the announcer speak those immortal words, "and the Academy Award goes to....... Richard Mix, first-time nominee; first-time winner." With the competition so fierce, Mix still has the ability to keep the movie-goer entertained.
