This actually had a lot of promise i think.The intro is great, and gives that great 80's slasher feel. But it totally falls flat as the film plays out. The camera-work and lighting is awful, and the actors, although they are supposed to be bad, are worse then to make the point of making a 80's rip off. The effects are hilarious and fun though. From the mid i had to just fast forward through it.

To be fair I gave it a 3/10 for some good horror elements and making fun of religion (most movies wouldn't dare so it was funny to see one that did).However, unless you're a perverse teenager or dirty old man this movie isn't that great. To be honest, it was perverted, full of gross sex stuff that wrecked the entire plot and just plain weird towards the end. I'm not religious at all but getting a porn star to play the role of Jesus was a little much, not because it's sacrilegious but because it's just plain weird! The production company has a reputation for making lousy sex-filled horror movies, like their 2002 film Death Factory (crazy chemist woman goes on a killing spree in a chemical factory). But this movie? I highly doubt I will ever watch this thing ever again, it wasn't very entertaining, it was weird and disgusting and had next-to-nothing of a plot-line.

This movie is set in the late 70's and in to the early 80's. Its meant to be a homage and a throwback to the Slasher horror movies of that era. Although it has elements of the typical 70's slasher movies in it, the movie is (for me) just too over the top and in the last 10 minutes it loses its way in my opinion. Yes I know its trying to be like those slasher films from that era but I think it tried too hard in the end. It did have some funny moments, and I know its not meant to be taken seriously but it also goes too far for me. I tried to like it but I was let down by the last stanza of the film. The first 10 minutes were promising but then it slowly let itself down throughout the rest of the movie. I think a lot of classic horror movie lovers will like this film, but its not for me. I give it a 2 out of 10.

This movie will make you jump, laugh and say what the $&%^ all in the same scene and at the end, you'll be glad you watched it. A great mix of classic horror and comedy and then you add in Ron Jeremy playing Jesus and you have an instant classic. The movie will keep you wanting to see what happens next and the soundtrack is fitting for the time the movie takes place (early 80's) and funny enough to have you and your friends singing when the movie is over. It has the gore and chicks every good horror movie should require and plot has a few hidden things you only pick up the more you watch it.If you are reading user reviews on this movie stop now and just watch it for yourself.
