Mr. & Mrs. Smith Trailers

After five (or six) years of vanilla-wedded bliss, ordinary suburbanites John and Jane Smith are stuck in a huge rut. Unbeknownst to each other, they are both coolly lethal, highly-paid assassins working for rival organisations. When they discover they're each other's next target, their secret lives collide in a spicy, explosive mix of wicked comedy, pent-up passion, nonstop action and high-tech weaponry.

The synopsis reads "a bored married couple" and I m not surprised. If I were them, I d also be bored. As far as I remember, someone fires a gun and someone else fires a gun. Somebody hides behind a wall and fires a gun, and somebody else fires back with a gun. You'd think that with all these guns going off, it would be enough to keep you awake, but the monotonous nature of the movie wins hands down, and you ll probably be asleep by the end.

Maybe I'll look stupid for saying this, but I adore this movie. Angelina from time when I couldn't decide if she was better actress or hotter chick and Bred who is one of the best actors in his generation. Angelina went to hell and back these days and Brad is cast into shadows by new generation of even better looking good actors, but for me, this movie remains one of the dearest love stories Hollywood gave us.............................................................

John and Jane Smith are married, living a normal life in a normal suburb and working normal jobs. In reality, John and Jane are both skilled assassins working for different firms, both the best in their field, each concealing their true profession from the other. When both are assigned to kill a man nicknamed "The Tank", they encounter each other on the job and discover the truth. Both employers task one to eliminate the other, and each must choose between their personal and professional lives.Jolie and Pitt have a body of work that is wonderfully ranged, and for each Fight Club and Tomb Raider, you have a Tomb Raider and an Oceans 12.This lies somewhere in between the quality of their movies, and it's nothing more than a light piece of fluff that is designed for the high concept summer market. And I guarantee that this wouldn't have made nearly as much as it did, if it wasn't for the two leads getting together. The two have wonderful chemistry together, and they do look like a proper couple, which only adds to the enjoyment of the film. It does go really over the top toward the end, with a pointless Butch and Sundance type shot out which drags a little after a such a wonderful car chase. But despite the film being really good looking, and making us normal, middle class people that little bit envious of the house size and the looks, the film is nothing more than a summer blockbuster, made only to entertain for its duration, and to be forgotten about soon after.Reportedly, Jennifer Aniston does not own a copy.

Mildly entertaining.A (not entirely happily) married couple, John and Jane Smith (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) lead seemingly average suburban lives. However, unbeknownst to each other, each of them is a contract killer. Things come to a head when they both get a contract to kill the same guy...Starting interestingly enough. Quite funny and intriguing. From a point, however, it just degenerates into a common-or-garden action movie. Is mostly silly, one-dimensional and predictable after that.Performances are fine though. This is the movie where the Pitt- Jolie romance started and the chemistry between them is tangible.Good support from Vince Vaughn. I'm generally not a fan of his movies but here he does good work, providing some of the funnier moments. Maybe he should just avoid lead roles...
