Sent to a US Air Force Base in Japan, a demon slayer studying a recent outbreak of supposed demonic activity comes face to face with the creature that killed her father years ago and sets her and her new friend off on a blood-stained path of vengeance to stop their nefarious plans. This one was a ton of fun as a lot happened in this one. One of the strongest aspects of this one is the rather strong mythology created for this which is a fine adaptation of the manga. By carrying over the concept of the demon society and how they work here by including the prophecy coming back and their social order coming into play, this one creates a rather strong setup for the films' better feature as this provides the film with lots of action. These are where the film really scores as these are incredibly fun, from the opening battle on the train, the first battle with the demonic students which is a fine sword fight and the grand street battle from the bar that fronts as a hideout for the creatures. Featuring the change into the creatures who change her around the building as well as the great encounters in the alleyways, the series of swordplay-infused martial arts prowess displayed in the lengthy battle that takes place there as the pouring rain and neon-lit signs provide a great backdrop for it to generate the rousing battles. The rooftop escapade trying to recapture the hostage amongst the rooftops of the village leading to the thrilling truck chase on the Army base and finally spilling into the mountain ravine which really serves to provide this one with tons of action. As well, the finale swordfight is a spectacular old-school style display of swordplay which lets their skills get pushed to the forefront as well as showing off plenty of filmmaking prowess with the dynamic look and feel that makes the scene look all the more impressive. Given that, alongside the huge amounts of bloodshed, there's literally a ton of things to like about it. There wasn't much to dislike here due to that, although it does have a somewhat minor issue at hand. This comes from the graphic effects on display as the film doesn't do a very good job editing its action scenes and the use of CGI for all of its bloodshed is a joke. The choppy, fragmented editing occurs when something happens in this one as that's during the action scenes making them nearly impossible to make out, while the CGI is awful and distracting for not blending into the scene properly. Sure, these don't mean much but at least there's enough here to bring it down slightly.Rated R: Graphic Violence and Graphic Language.

Rumors says that at one high school there are some so called vampires and she is sent undercover as a student to discover who they are and terminate them. Here she meets Alice who is the daughter of a general who runs business over there and after Alice's father is killed by her organization between the two starts a friendship in witch the two will help each other to those who betray them but also to remain alive to fur fill their assignment.I guest Blood: The last vampire is a movie about vampire in the Asian version where we see fights with swords peculiar in samurai movies and this idea brings something new and it's a good part. The bad one are the special effects witch are not so good but in some part are saved by the acting and the story who makes the movie watchable.
... View MoreOkay so this film really disappoints me, perhaps because I was so excited to see it. Or maybe it has nothing to do with the series. I get that this is the first film and its based off the movie more then the series but even so, there is no mention of what her blood can do and how important it really is. I mean the title of the film is called Blood. And where is Haji? Such an important character left out? And why were the effects so amazing awful. I mean so bad that I almost left. It looked like they weren't even finished they were so bad.I mean that creature that was flying around after the girls in the truck or the scene with the vampire creature runnig from rooftop?? Who let this get out? Also the end finally against the other chick jumping back and forth between realities got pretentious and boring quite fast.

View MoreEpic! epic movie, that's all I have to say, put it this way I hate making accounts for stuff like IMDb, and after years of looking at this site for reviews I've made an account just to put a review on this movie and defend it from these atrociously low ratings and reviews because I saw it was so undersold and unfairly accused as a tosh movie. It's full of win to the brim, while I can't guarantee you'll like this movie it must be watched for you to decide for yourself, I see reviews either extremely low or extremely high for a reason, its a real love it or hate it but you just have to find out for yourself I personally loved it, visually stunning fight scenes were a non stop thrill characters were totally likable and I think the story as I found out based on the anime was really good with no big holes, the negative things people have complained about I consider semantics and did not at all take away from the awesomeness that was Blood the last vampire.
