Watching this picture in 2003 l didn't pay attention carefully as usually l do,but in this second look on DVD l found it really amuzing, all characters are dumb or at least unfortunate, this comedy is a sort of screwball, driven crazy every single multi colors and odds characters.all them has their fuuny moments although all mess it's a plenty of gags and jokes quote some famous previous movies,Sonnenfeld applying a smart non stoping speed since the beginning given us no chance to sleeping, just to consider the character Puggy was out of tune!!!ResumeFirst watch: 2003 / How many: 2 / Source: Cable TV-DVD / Rating: 7

Everyone says this is a laugh. You start out with a guy chatting about his life and then it switches to a voice over of a narrator. It has major stars or at least popular stars. This looks like it was 3/4 movies tossed in a bag and the you got this mess. The script is bad, the lines bad and things are just a mess and not explained. The lines are delivered w/o no emotions. This movie is so bad you jump from one thing to another and you just can't laugh you go what just happened.Don't waste your time with it.

There aren't too many comedies I like to watch over and over, but this is one of them. This is one of those 'ridiculous' comedies, not one of the overrated 'intelligent' ones. You will laugh hard at this one. It's not a gross-out comedy either, and doesn't have meaningless boobies (if such a thing is possible), it's just absurd... in a good way.I think what I like most about this one is the way the story flows. It's the most logical sequence of ridiculous events I have ever witnessed. Everything makes perfect sense. Not only that, but there are a ton of characters, and each one has a distinct personality, each one is funny in their own way. There are some tough choice in life. Like, should you choose the Arrivals or Departures lane when you're driving to the airport? Well, we're arriving at the airport... but we want to depart soon...

As others have stated in their reviews, this excellent comedy is one of the funniest films I have seen. It's over the top, slapstick, situational comedy at it's best. The casting and acting was perfect for this movie, Tim and Rene provided just the right mix of romance and hilarity. The hit men and Gator scenes are absolute laugh out loud classics and made me laugh the hardest and longest I ever have. It's a film that I mention whenever the topic gets to comedy films but it is one that everybody else seems to have missed. I'm not a fan of sequels usually as I prefer originality but I really wanted more after watching this work of art. Well done chaps.
