Look I have been a long time fan of Ben 10 and I actually remember watching this movie when I was about 8 and I personally think this movie was decent. The CGI effects were good and the story was decent.The acting wasn't the best either like Ben looked way too old to be 10 also why didn't gwen not use any of her magic powers in the movie?

I admit I am a fan of Ben 10, and while Race Against Time disappointed me I don't think it was that bad. Is the plot on the weak and predictable side despite having a great concept? In a way, yes. Is the script lacking? Yes. Is it too short and perhaps rushed as well? Yes.However, it is not as bad as it is made out to be. For a TV movie, the production values are decent, with decent cinematography and locations and the effects are not as slip-shod or slapdash as one might think, Heatblast is actually very impressive. The soundtrack is also great, the character relationships are believable enough and the action is choreographed in an efficient manner. The acting is not award worthy, but it is not horrible. I applaud Graham Phillips for trying, and he does, but he does verge on trying too hard. The other actors especially Lee Majors and Haley Ramm range from decent to great. Also I loved the title, it gave a sense of real urgency.Overall, it is disappointing and I would recommend the cartoons Ben 10, Alien Force and Ultimate Alien and the recent TV movie Alien Swarm over this, but it is not that bad compared to some of the reviews I have read on here. 6/10 Bethany Cox

I think the movie was pretty good for cartoon network budget. Other TV movies are far worse than this one is said to be. The acting is just as good as any Disney or NICK live action show. It was just as good as saved by the bell. Not like anyone was expecting Emmy's or anything for this. I watched it with my kids who were greatly entertained. A 6 year old and an 8 year old. They liked it and watched it twice. So apparently the movie did its job and entertained kids and helped fuel the imagination. Let's face it, if you are 15 or older and still watching cartoons and complaining about them, you need a life or you have found yourself getting older and should try some other entertainment other than cartoons

Well, long story short, it sucked. I even just went and created an account to say what a POS it was.It IS at least a fairly decent storyline. Ben returns from his extremely extended summer to school. Eon wakes up from his slumber apparently JUST around the time when he goes back to school, he wants the power of the Omnitrix, yadda yadda yadda, we've all been here before. They need the power of the Omnitrix to do SOME important thing whether it means restoring something, conquering something, etc.Anyway, the acting, it was pretty rigid, there was no real emotion put into it, they sounded like they were reading directly off of cue cards and hadn't practiced their lines at all.Also, something that really peeved me, since I hadn't really gotten much out of the story in general, I looked forward to seeing how the aliens would be in 3d, well, to my disappointment, they only showed FOUR of the aliens throughout the ENTIRE movie! Cmon now, they only chose grey matter, heatblast, diamondhead, and wildmutt.He has about 6 other freaking aliens! (Not including cannon bolt and wildvine at least.) And considering that its AFTER the entire summer, he actually should have about 15-20! (During the whole ghostfreak Epoch.) I mean, they coulda at least done I dunno, fourarms, his most common choice, stinkfly, for I dunno, some sort of rescue off of a bridge.If you saw this, I feel really sorry for you, because you wasted over an hour of your life. This movie is something that somebody of my age could've just put together in the last second after procrastinating it for about a quarter of a year.In other words, THIS. MOVIE. SUCKED! Don't waste your time. The show is great, this movie was horrible.
