I do realize that every one has their own point of view, but I have a very hard time understanding anyone that could think this is any good. Up to this point I've at least found the Son of Batman series to be mildly entertaining in a Saturday morning cartoon kind of way. But, Bad Blood goes off the deep end in to absolute absurdity. The whole plot with the antagonist is way out of character & does a great disservice to a long standing fan favourite. The new additions to the bat family are scraping the bottom of a chum infested barrel. First off we get a one dimensional "Batwoman" with a back story so boring; that the writers decided to make her a lesbian for shock value, perhaps to wake viewers up; yawn. Now if only she was the lamest addition, but no that prize goes to the Ironman ripoff "Batwing". You can literally take the suit off him; put him in Cyborgs suit & bam same character. Why waste time with these poorly thought out pieces of crap is beyond me when you have gems like the Huntress left unused. If you have the mental capacity of an average 6 year old or more I highly suggest forgetting this abomination even exists. because it makes what they did with "The Killing Joke" look great by comparison.

Judging by the reviews for Son of Batman, Batman vs Robin and this movie, it's like people are in the mood to hate something and just so happen to watch this with that attitude. Like they got in the 'haters mood' and then someone said wanna watch Batman? Oh something to hate! They subconsciously think...Such a great movie. Just like with ANY movie it has a few problems here and there but I didn't hardly notice unless I really looked. What a great idea to make a movie set on Nightwing and the Bat-family rather than Batman himself for the thousandth time. I loved the new perspective and the amount of characters. Can't miss this one as it introduces Batmen and Batwomen into the universe that haven't ever been given their own movie, let alone show up in the animated universe at all. Brings the first movie to a closed circle also. Pure greatness. Don't miss it.

DC animation seems to be going downhill these days. They're trying a retro style of anime and it's just not working. Watching this film is like watching Akira back in the 80's. It just feels tired now.I'm guessing the writers had 30 minutes worth of good ideas for this film and just tried to fluff out the rest. They tried to hide the poor story behind lots of cleavage and foul language (Not that I have a problem with either of those under normal circumstances).Given the characters involved, this film should have been fantastic. It's not.Don't bother.

Firstly a disclaimer. I have not read the comics this is based on. I have wanted to pick up Batwoman but I never did. I own one volume of Batwing. So I am judging this film on it own merits. Not as some comic book pulled right off the page. That being said I do feel this film stays true to what I know of what is in those comics. I mean I really enjoyed this film. Jay Olivia seems to be having his own plans for this new DC new 52 slew of films I really do like what he is trying to do here. Though I will admit it would of been better if he separated everything with a Batwing movie Batwoman movie Batman: Battle for the Cowl. It would of been great if these all were kept separate instead of merging them, but I felt the way they merged them all together was good. I didn't feel to overwhelmed by everything and overall I had fun with this film . I like how it held back too, It wasn't as needfully gory as Batman vs Robin or Justice League: War were. It used blood only when it was appropriate and I liked that a lot. I do wish there was more story over action, but the action was directed well and had weight to it. I liked all the characters here too. Damien Wayne seems to be calmer and less bratty. He seems to care about his father more and still love him. Talia even notes this. I also liked Talia in this movie. I thought she had did a really good job in this movie. Batwoman was great too. I was surprised they kept her lesbian origins in tact. Especially with the whole marriage thing in place. Dick Grayson was also handled well in this film and had a lot of nice nods to him being Batman. Actually I wished we saw more of Dick Grayson being Batman. Which is why it would of been nice if they split these stories a part more, but it is all good in the same. The worst things this film had was the 3d animation and the villains. Aside from Talia none of them were really that compelling. Which kind of sucks being that some of these villains could have been interesting if they got more time to be fleshed out. Overall Batman Bad Blood is the best of these new 52 animated films, but it isn't perfect. It does have a few issues here and there that I do wish could have been more fleshed out, but overall still really enjoyable.
