My guilty pleasure is a corny, predictable lifetime or hallmark movie, so after reading the brief synopsis, with the bonus of barry watson, I was in. However, my mistake, because this was awful. There was absolutely no chemistry between these two, no climax to the plot, no drama--her acting was bad--what man would fall for her? Unfortunately I couldn't even find entertainment making fun of this movie, what a waste of 90 minutes that I'll never get back. (P.S. I made an account just to rate this title and write a review--that's how passionate I am about how awful it was).

... View MoreThe acting chemistry between the main actors was good, the "getting to know you" faze in the begin felt natural and the couple was cute together. I do wish there had been more time when casting the extras, especially since they were such a big part of the movie. They just didn't seem to feel as natural together, not unwatchable but they could have done better. The big secret Parker had was pretty predictable. It does have a slight cheesy feel to it but its a movie I can watch with my kids around and don't have to worry what they might start to mimic lol
... View MoreWhile Barry Watson did an excellent job with his role, the same cannot be said of his female counterpart. While the acting for Trish was well done, the character herself was unlikeable and appeared very lazy, putting on an apron a few times for about 2 minutes only to take it off when she had done nothing. Granted one scene had one of her employees already doing her job, it still made no sense for her to seem overworked when we can't physically see it. Overall, the character of Trish could have been way better, but her stinky attitude and laziness ruined the movie.
