I like this moving because it's based on a true story. Also if you watch any interviews with the cast, you learn that they actually spent time with the real people to learn the story before they played the roles so that they had all the facts so that it was "real" instead of acting. The storyline was great and you could tell the actors really had a true love for horses. I totally recommend it. 5 stars!!

Finally got to watch 50 to 1! Oh my goodness...what an awesome movie! The story was wonderful. Nothing like rooting for the underdog because let's face it, most of us have been there. Christian Kane was fantastic as always. The range he shows in this movie is amazing. He can communicate so many emotions with just one simple look. His comedic timing is spot on. The entire cast was great but, Christian Kane just has this ability to show a wide range of emotions in anything he is in. The chemistry between all the actors was so cohesive. You could truly believe that these folks had been working together with these horses for years. And nothing starts a movie quite like a good old bar fight! Will watch again and again!!

I would recommend this movie to anyone asking me for my opinion of something to watch that is just a feel good movie - it's all about having a good time as these boys do. At first I didn't expect much but then I found myself rooting for Mine That Bird even though I already knew the outcome of the race. It was much more entertaining than I expected it to be and it doesn't hurt that I'm a Christian Kane Kaniac fan and that my daughter loves Skeet Ulrich. You should take the time to give this movie a look, I don't think you'll regret it. I especially enjoyed the good old boys scenes making me feel right at home with the whole cast and who doesn't love a good animal movie?

The best movie ever! You gotta see it and your husband will love it too~ Not a dull moment. A lot of heart put into this movie, and the acting is flawless. Totally enjoyed it. Very well written and produced...Cute actors kept my full attention at all times and I never can usually sit long enough to watch a full movie...I have recommended to all my friends and family...Be sure and leave your positive reviews on these movie rating sites. This movie has not been given the full credit it deserves. Not sure what the critics are looking for but maybe they don't like a wonderfully enjoyable family movie that is hard to find these days with enough action to keep the Dads attention too. Well, this movie has it all..I was at the grocery store looking at rentals, and a lady suggested it and said her and her husband really enjoyed it..So glad they pointed it out! Buy the DVD for gifts and share with friends..
