Simple words and phrases are how I describe this film. No Fat and Crap that is what today's theaters are full of so much. The best and worst of the film are clearly seen throughout. The thing that the film lacked was a Director. Looked him up and found that he was not up for this script. With an average Director, this could have been at the theaters. Now the good stuff: : The camera work, lighting, angles were good and it has a dark flavor that fits the film. : The Lukas character was someone that grew on you as the story goes along. The big thug killer was good and as advertised. The guy looked big and mean. : The Make-up was a little better than good and it was like a real experienceThe Really good stuff: : The girlfriends and side kicks of the main characters were really good. The cops had ups and downs with scenes but if you buy the concept then : The medical guy was really good and almost a comic relief. : Locations were nice in that you moved into each location with ease and you were interested in each one of them. The Great stuff: : Almost all of the leads were great in their roles. : The script was great and could actually have a sequel. ( I would like to see one ) : Music was great and fit the show in a great way. Unheard of artists and the title song was cool. The Best stuff: : Cowboy Jack ( If you have not seen the film, see it for this guy )All in allCreative Fun Exciting New Fresh Different

Yes, I was drawn to this film by the poster. I had not heard of this title and it seemed to keep my interest as I looked at the cover on-line. Personally, I detest hype and the American machine of selling movies from spicy advertisements that hardly live up to their 2 minutes of flash and boom. I am pleased to write this as I have never written a comment other than a reply to blogs in the past. I did read the reviews of this picture and I am very pleased that I chose to watch this film. 3 Days Gone is a modern day story that makes you sit in the back seat of a taxi and suddenly the driver locks all the doors. You are alarmed by this but you try to remain calm as you watch the cab slowly pick up speed. You are approaching 300 K's per hour and the driver opens the door and jumps out leaving you to crash and burn. It felt like sort of an exciting panic watching 3 Days Gone, I found myself talking to the characters in the film out loud. The story is not like other films that I have seen and the camera work is dark and stylistic. Not seeing much direction of the film did not detract from the entire piece but it could have been better. In the reviews of this film, you read about the acting performances as being good but watching the film is the only way to describe the Cowboy. The name Cowboy Jack when you read it is not what had come to my mind. This character seduces you from the moment that he comes to the screen. Being the main reason that I am writing this review is Cowboy Jack and I will search for other films that this actor has been in for this movie alone. I will stop there with Cowboy Jack as I hate to read reviews that spoil a movie so I will highly recommend this film and say that I had a most exhilarating ride with this film 3 Days Gone and I am buying it for friends as a gift this holiday season.

Boom Boom Pow! The story is really good and in fact this is as good as any films that I have seen in the last 5 years. 3 Days Gone is a great film for people like me that do try to know what the ending will be and also want to be surprised. This film does not disappoint the audience as many others do today. Smart characters are what hold the film together in this twisting and turning thriller. Some characters are good and then there is THE CHARACTER "COWBOY JACK" If you have to imagine what a Bad guy is that you hate and love at the same time, this is your man. Highs and lows run their course throughout the film but when you see Jack, your heart begins to race. Without spoiling this cool film, I will say that you must see this movie if for no other reason but Cowboy Jack. Yes, there are hot women and there are action scenes that are different and super sneaky. The camera work was exceptionally good. The Directing should have been stronger but most of the characters hold you close to the film and make the ride a roller coaster full of extreme speed and hard turns.

Saw this movie by chance on Amazon. I had seen the ads for this movie over the weekend and decided to check it out. I was not disappointed. It was a breath of fresh air in the action genre when all you see nowadays are sequels and uninspired movies. Man am I glad to see Charles Wesley back to work as it has been far to long for him to be out of movies. He is quite possible this generation of actors most underrated stars. Anybody that has seen a movie with I'm in it will agree that his acting skill is underrated. Now on to the movie... From the beginning action sequence (which ends in cop-dog convo) to the end when you see the everybody getting away without anybody ever really knowing their true identities, you will be impressed with the direction this movie has taken. I can easily say that this movie is of the same caliber as "All Saints Day" which is at theaters now.
