I thought it was pretty funny. I was actually hoping that this would become a TV series. I have to admit I was pretty disappointed to see that it didn't go anywhere. I didn't realize it was the movie made into a TV show. I just thought it was a new TV show and it was pretty funny. It feels like a parody to zombie movies but at the same time it feels like it has plenty of actual action. It's just a funny and a little crazy zombie flick that I was looking forward to as a series. Seems like my wish will not be granted anytime soon. Hopefully somebody reads the reviews and decides to make it a show still. You have to keep in mind this sort of comedy is not for everyone but I'm sure the people that like zombie movies and comedies like Reno 911 or Workaholics and this sort of thing would enjoy it.

Without question Zombieland The TV series falls short on quality of actors and budget compared to the movie. At first when watching the pilot I kept finding myself thinking I wish it was the same actors playing the same characters or new characters in general. Then after looking past the flaws in the new faces I found the show enjoyable, and even sorta funny.Personally I thought Detroit the voice OnStar was a great navigational addition to the cast, the bond of the four characters (even though the characters are portrayed by different actors) still flows smoothly from the transition from the big screen to the small screen; For some I could see how the transition could be a bumpy one, but once you look past the sight of new faces you will see a promising new show, which has endless possibilities. In the opinion of Allyssa Rainn "Never Judge A Book By It's Cover, And Never Judge A Show By Its Pilot Episode" lets see where this show can go and what bridges the creative team dares to cross.

First off, I enjoyed the pilot, let me get that out of the way.there is only one big thing that gets in the way, the characters are just different actors playing the people from the movie.I am unfamiliar with the folks in the cast, but they have a huge hurdle to attempt to mimic 3 Oscar nominated actors and Emma Stone. so why bother?Zombieland is big enough that the series could have focused on another group of survivors and be just as fun. it could even be argued that the "Rules of Zombieland" are no secret and have been passed around a bit.So that is what I do not like.I really enjoyed the Actor Playing Tallahase, he was not trying to impersonate Woody Harrelson (although the Twinkie gag at the beginning was a cool tip of the hat) and that is the way it should be. I loved the material between him and the off screen "Detroit" . . . if Amazon does pick this up, I will stop watching it if this character is not continued. The language was a tad too rude, but I will not complain much about that. there was no chemistry between our Boy/Girl lovers and frankly that bothered me a bit as it did not even come off as Awkward attraction, but I liked the actress in the role, Again, should be playing a character that is not Emma Stone.I say lets see some more, but change the series so that is not the same characters (Keep the cast though, just rename them).

As someone who loved the movie, I had high hopes for the series. (Although, I also wished they had gone with different characters) I then watched my hopes get sh*t upon by this monstrosity that erased 30 mins of my life. The acting is pathetic, the "humor" is lame and the plot holes are literally infuriating. One of the most irritating issues I have is that the actors appear to be performing watered-down versions of the characters in the film. (One previous reviewer complained that Tallahassee's character went from "bad ass" to "retard." I would agree with that statement) Amazon, you're better than this - please let this abomination die!
