well thats my statement anyways.I liked VR-troopers as a kid. this series was a combination of the Power rangers and Starwars.it had it's childish goofs, but the fighting scenes where fun to watch for me at that age. I'm not gonna judge this series for having childish contents. couse it is A KIDS show!.besides that it had a decent story.you have your standard villain that wants to take over the world. with his robot army. and I find that the Robot army gave it a little more realism. couse in the power rangers you can clearly see it's a lame ass monster costume.the whole Trooper thing was all about special crystals that acted as battery's. for powering high technical suits. unlike the first negative comment that was given, this series had it's value for me. + I still like the themesong LOL
... View MoreBefore gaining fame as Carly(#1) on General Hospital, Sarah Brown played Kaitlin Star on VR Troopers. If I was her I would not want people to know I was on this show. VR Troopers was created by the same people that made the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Although I liked the Power Rangers when I was a kid;I never truly liked VR Troopers. VR Troopers was not very good. That talking dog was creepy and not funny, and that newspaper editor( "I've got an IDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-YAH!!!!") wasn't very amusing himself. this shows' special effects were even worse than the Power Rangers', and the enemies were not as memorable. I remember this show had a big cast change in the second season (mostly just with the villains). The fight scenes were awkward, often the environments would change with little or no explanation ("Escalate to Indigo Sector!"). VR Troopers certainly was a bizarre show. If you're just watching this show in order to make fun of it, you will probably enjoy watching VR Troopers.
... View MoreThere is something interesting about it: If anyone here Knows the Japanese Metal Hero shows, then you know the three shows involved. First season: Jiku Senshi Spielvan (Dimensional Warrior Spielvan), Choujinki Metalder (Super Man Machine Metalder).Second Season: Jiku Senshi Spielvan (Dimensional Warrior Spielvan), Uchuu Keiji Shaider (Space Sheriff Shaider)The Interesting Part: On the first season, They used Metalder battle scenes for when Ryan Steele fights. On the Second Season, they turn back the clock and use Shaider scenes for Ryan Steele battle sequences.Oh well, I just want to point out something.
... View MoreThis was a somewhat interesting show. It had an original premise and an interesting group of characters. Granted, the show seemed like a rip off of any of those Power Rangers shows, but the show quickly established an identity for itself. It's a shame it was cancelled after only a couple seasons or so, it was just getting very interesting.
