First season starts a bit rough, but clearly they keep learning and keep improving. I've been a DC fanboy since watching and rewatching Justice League Unlimited and Young Justice, and was thoroughly convinced Marvel couldn't put forth the same caliber of writing. Finally I've been proven wrong, and I couldn't be happier. The villains aren't exclusively a binary evil, the heroes aren't exclusively a binary good, yet the reversals aren't so overplayed that you lose faith in the traits that define the characters. Add in a love of minor character development and overarching themes, and you've got a series with consistent draw.Still catching up and am in season 4 presently - one gripe - the episodes are out of order on certain critical occasions. We see a post major conflict resolution team before we see how the conflict was resolved and yes, of course the Avengers pull through, but it'd be nice not to have that assumption called out so blatantly.

I almost want to cry. They replace EMH with Sh*tty show like this. This show is just boring. I'm not entertain by this crap. Unlike most people I give show chances by watching more than one episode and this crap sucks. the voice actors are lame. I miss the old EHM ones. I can't stand none of these voices except Thor and Hawkeye. The rest are lame. I am just so upset that I have not watched a single episode since last year. If your a big fan of EMH then don't watch this. Also the series is not connected to EMH liked they said it would be last year. Must have been a rumor. Stick to the comics and movies. Be on the lookout for Avengers: Age of Ultron. It is the upcoming Sequel coming out next year and its trailer is about to get release.

While this was touted as a follow-up to the previous well-received series, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, it's nowhere near as good.In the first 3 episodes, they pull the "heroes possessed by villains" trope TWICE.Oh, and the "rookie saves the day" card has been used a few times, too. They're making a big deal about Tony taking a leadership role when he led the team a LOT during the previous series. While the previous series was entertaining to a variety of ages and audiences, this series is really falling below that standard. It's... boring. Did anyone think that the Avengers WOULDN'T stay together during the first 2 episodes? No, not at all. It's just like what they did with the Spectacular Spider-Man, cancelling it and replacing it with a sub-standard replacement (Ultimate Spider-Man). Of course, Loeb in in charge of both...

Some of the other reviewers need to look at the age limit on the show. It's recommended for age 7+ kids. It is not an adult superhero show and does not pretend to be. Yes, "Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes" was a better effort, but it's still fun to watch. Some of the plots and dialog are a bit over the top. But when you think about it, most superhero stuff is over the top. It's certainly okay if you are a fan of the Marvel Universe. Just enjoy and don't worry about it. Voice acting and music are okay, a nice array of villains are brought along, plenty of smashing and mayhem. Some of the other reviewers remarked about the level of damage done in the show?? Obviously you have not read any comic books in a while. There's always a roof coming down!! Like I said, just watch and enjoy!!
