the title of my review says it all. while jackass was funny in not just the stunts, but the perceived randomness of the stunts themselves. viva la bam, on the other hand, is reduced to the same bland stupid things rich suburban kids do on their spare time. except they get paid for it, of course. definitely not a good example for the kiddies, especially when, among other things, you have a dad who gets beat up by his son constantly, a drunk, morbidly obese, unintelligible, and just gross uncle, and you have your main character wreck his own lamborghini. it turned into your typical teen dumbass show. suddenly i want to go rent both jackass movies.

VIVA LA BAM This "Jackass" spin off focuses on the (obviously scripted) adventures of Bam Margera and his pals (Johnny Knoxville, Brandon Dicamillo, etc). This show, while it has its fair share of gross-out comedy and crazy stunts, focuses mainly on Bam's torturing of his parents.I'm sorry to say this, Bam, but... you're in no way as cool as you think you are. This ego tripped show is not only painfully unfunny (and yes, I liked Jackass), but also narcissistic beyond belief. The overly stylized intro ends with Bam coolly explaining that he's going to do "whatever the f***" he wants to. How about you do something that is actually funny? I liked "Jackass" for what it was worth. The camera-work was horrible - any idiot could have made a better show with a camcorder in their parents' garage - but at least the show moved at a steady pace and never felt boring between the crazy, dangerous or simply disgusting stunts the pals performed.Not so with "Viva la Bam". We follow our hero around as he plays pranks on his friends and tortures his relatives, but never does it feel like anything else than really lame and scripted comedy. The stunts and pranks are mildly entertaining, but presented in such a tedious and dull fashion that they can barely make you smile."Viva la Bam" is a poor spin-off of that does little good but feed Margera's already too big ego. I don't recommend this lame and unimaginative show to anyone.

The guy who called Viva La Bam juvenile can go to HELL!!!!!!!! Viva La Bam is very entertaining. I mean the whole point of the dam programme is to show how Bam and the rest of the CKY crew are living after the vast success of CKY and Jackass. I mean if you like Jackass you should have noticed that it is mainly the CKY crew with all of the other cast doing less dangerous stunts. They should make more episodes of Viva La Bam and they should also show the Dudesons on TV. People enjoy laughing at other misfortunes, like yesterday when I smashed my balls on a rail attempting to learn how to skate. I mean Viva La Bam has taught many of my peers how to enjoy yourself like I didn't know antiquing was so much fun, people have also leaned that fat bloaters can be used to make strange noises.

Bam Margera is so cool i watch his show every time it comes on MTV. Bam's crew is awesome too & Bam' parents Phil and April wow i feel sorry for them cause they have to put up with them everyday but i still love this show. Don Vito is the worst person in the show cause he gets on my nerves to much and all the that bam see is so cool. I don't know why anyone would turn down this show its so cool. i also think that if Bam were to go on the comp. and choose an e-mail address from all the sites about him and if he chose one and u got picked he would find out where you live and let you hang out with for a whole day or even be on his show. I wish he would do that one day and i got picked for it. well i still love the show viva la bam and i also love Bam & Rabb.
