Tori Vega (Victoria Justice) is forced to perform when her older sister Trina's tongue gets swollen. She gets accepted into the Hollywood Arts High School. Her friends include piano-playing Andre Harris, Robbie Shapiro with his ventriloquist puppet Rex, oddly clueless Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), hunky Beck Oliver and his jealous girlfriend Jade West.Kids show producer Dan Schneider does it again. It's another wacky show with a photogenic cast. It's unreal. It's a lot of noise and brightly colored for the tweens. The best of Schneider is that he's able to grab these good young talented kids and populate his shows with them. They are all big charismatic personalities. Schneider has settle upon a formula. The great thing for him is that it's new for each new generation of kids. In its center, it's about the teens' friendships with all the bells and whistles.

Good messages about having confidence in yourself and following your dreams. There is also no talking back to adults in this show (although they make the adults such fools). The reason this show is called "Victorious" is because it's "victorious" in quality over all the other Nick shows. It is my #1 favorite show, next to Jessie (on Disney Channel). I wish the two had crossed despite being on separate channels though. I also think it was just plain stupid of Nick to cancel this "victorious" series, and replace it with crap such as Every Witch Way, The Thundermans, Bella and the Bulldogs (which I haven't seen the last one yet, but I have a feeling it will suck eggs).

Victorious is good for what it is! This show may have had the fame concept too, but it was more about the crazy journey to fame. Meanwhile, thanks to Trina sometimes, we'd have jokes about people regarding the industry such as people not caring who wrote the song or how today talent has nothing to do with many people being famous. Tori Goes Platinum was definitely the episode that showed what life can be like in the industry and I believe it was done really well since we had seen such a different side to Tori that not even she was pleased with. And even after she performs at the awards, even after the times André has impressed a producer with his music, it's not happily ever after for them. They still have to work their way up or find another opportunity to get picked up by someone and I find that pretty realistic as it's been said that you really do have to keep working at it with your talents and keep practising and doing gigs. Unlike other fame shows, not only did this show a crazy journey to fame, what with this being by Dan Schneider, this also showed the process of becoming famous to be as realistic as it can be.

Hi, it's SRS'S granddaughter again. am going to write a review on victorious. Starting with the cast.Daniella Monet, Trina Vega. Trina is a moron. She thinks she is great. She is selfish. Trina is so full of herself. She cannot sing AT ALL! But on the other hand, she is a pretty good sister! 2 out of 10.Avan Jojia, Beck Oliver. Beck's character is really nice. Ecpecially when he did the stunt for Tori in the episode, Beck Falls For Tori. I think Beck is secretly into Tori. But, maybe that's why they made the show like that. Jade isn't right for him, so they're a strange couple. And I love the idea of living in a RV, you can still be with your parents if it is in their driveway! 10 out of 10.Matthew Bennett, Robbie Shipiro. He is a very good ventriloquist. Rex is basically a puppet, but Robbie makes it out to be a real human, LAME! 3 out of 10.END OF PART 1 OF Review. COME BACK TOMORROW FOR MORE!!!!
