While it might have been written for the younger audiences, this show in its setting is indeed geared toward school kids but has something for everyone. theses characters go to a high school that most of us day dream about. there is some rude humor that is a bit harsh at times but is mainly limited to 2 characters. and the rude humor aspect doesn't hurt the show to much, just more like clashed personalities then anything else.the stories in this series are pretty solidly written which makes the show engaging. there are some odd jokes that have you thinking "uuuhh... OK but that's par for the course for nickelodeon and is there style ^^.Again, i highly recommend this show to everyone its rather one of a kind!

Tori Vega (Victoria Justice) is forced to perform when her older sister Trina's tongue gets swollen. She gets accepted into the Hollywood Arts High School. Her friends include piano-playing Andre Harris, Robbie Shapiro with his ventriloquist puppet Rex, oddly clueless Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), hunky Beck Oliver and his jealous girlfriend Jade West.Kids show producer Dan Schneider does it again. It's another wacky show with a photogenic cast. It's unreal. It's a lot of noise and brightly colored for the tweens. The best of Schneider is that he's able to grab these good young talented kids and populate his shows with them. They are all big charismatic personalities. Schneider has settle upon a formula. The great thing for him is that it's new for each new generation of kids. In its center, it's about the teens' friendships with all the bells and whistles.

The reason I am in love with this show is the same reason that I love how i met your mother- It doesn't feel like just an endless string of jokes. It won't make you laugh every single second but it kinda emotionally resonates with me- with all the music and everything. It does get really terrible in the later part of season 2, but apart from that, this is one of my favourite shows. A kid show being funny is a huge deal I think, what with the huge amount of censorship they have to go through. This still manages to be really good. I haven't watched the other Schneider shows much (1 episode each of Sam and Cat, iCarly and a little bit of Drake and Josh) to say whether this is the best Schneider show ever, but I don't think any other show can ever take its place for me. I really wish it wasn't cancelled :( . I really love this show :) This and How i met your mother are the only shows I watch these days.

"VICTORIOUS," in my opinion, is an excellent Nickelodeon show. I watch it with my 9-year-old nephew from time to time. I always smile and laugh whenever a mishap occurs. I would have to that the funniest one is everything that happens when Tori (Victoria Justice) has to look after Trina (Daniella Monet). Another thing that makes this show funny is Robbie's (Matt Bennett) comic relief. If you ask me, she always know just what to say and do to make the audience laugh. The writing is always strong, the performances are always good, and everything else about the show is good. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that if you don't have basic cable, you should get it. Now, in conclusion, I hope this will be on Nickelodeon for many years yet.
